Two multi-tools sort of on the way. Neither has been shipped out yet. No idea how long it'll take. I've ordered them a week ago.

The new NexTool with bit adapter.

And the other one with the removable scissors and a ferro rod.

It arrived but I got one of the True Utility/NEBO Fixr Pocket Tools. Seems like a solid little pocket tool.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Good find.  :tu:   You don't see many of those for sale these days.

Even better, I made an offer, was rejected, watched it sell, and then saw it relisted.   Contacted the seller to find out what was going on and found out the buyer cancelled on her.  ( she has a 100% rating ) so I made my original offer and it is now scheduled to be here Friday next week.

The Handyman and the Woodsman need some refurbishment. We’ll see to what extent when they get here. The Classic Alox is for my wife. She picked one up used at a festival and didn’t really look it over and it had a broken back spring. Thought about TIG welding the spring back together because it isn’t going to get any more broke lol. The Ranger is what I am really looking forward to. The Camper and Small Tinker were just too cheap to pass up and I was putting together a package. All in all for $100 cdn I think it is a good deal.

Now to wait on the mail man.

Quite a few knives, mostly cheaper ones.

Sabre USA fob/keychain knife. I think this was made in the late '70s-early '80s by Colonial For just over $5 shipped, I couldn't say no.

Two M. Klein and Sons three-blade electrician's knives. The pair were $24 shipped, and the seller sent me an offer for $20, which I accepted. The ones with the smaller sheepsfoot blade in place of the hawkbill are rather old, and a pattern I prefer.

A beat-up and well-used 2001-dated Moore Maker Stockman for an EDC, probably made by Queen. At $30, not really cheap, but given MSRP was $130, it's not that bad.  It's 4 3/8" closed, which would make it a #5304. The originally jigged yellowish-brown scales have been worn smooth, but it has good snap, and no wobble. Blades don't look too worn either.

And since this knife will, most definitely be large, and heavy (it's a 1/4" bigger than the 4 1/4" Stockman, which is already borderline too heavy), I ordered a scabbard/sheath from South Texas Tack (where I typically buy my new Moore Makers). It's made in their own saddle shop, I think.

I'm glad it found a good home. I was watching it, but had already spent more than planned this month and did not make an offer.

Then thank you for knowing your budgetary limits.  :hatsoff:

They're doing that everywhere it seems. The local Exxon stations were the first to do it, and fraud prevention was their main reasoning. Now, almost every online retailer is when I don't use PayPal (which is something I'm increasingly moving away from), and sometimes, even with "Pay With PayPal" there's a blank for the ZIP code.  And really, I don't see the point. It's really easy to just look up the ZIP code. I don't see how it prevents fraud,

Beyond fraud prevention, it's a marketing research device. (In the US at least) They want to know where you live, what area you live in, so they can do research about how many people from different states, counties, and areas buy their products, so they can use it for more effective advertising, and in some cases, decisions of where to build a new store, warehouse, or distribution center.
This life is merely a staging ground for eternity. Are you preparing for the rest of forever?
