That lanyard that he sent is so awesome. I tried that knot but haven't been able to get it down yet.  ::)

Come on Ash!  You're the knot angel.

Just for you.......... take two 10 foot lengths, fold each in half and loop together. Start a four cord braid/plait (i know you can do that, I've seen your dog leads), at 26 iches splice the four leading cords through the start point. Now thats the neck loop made.

The next bit can be whatever you want, a inch or so with a split ring on the end or a couple of clips. So for example you could run a cobra weave, snake knot, turks head, whatever you feel like?

Edit - You were talking about the neck lanyard?  Or did you mean the red and silver king cobra, or the wee man?

I can make a neck lanyard I just can't get the turks head down. :(

Heres one I made a while ago.

Thanks Santa (beerplumber) I got my Christmas present today. I am very impressed the lanyard matches the Squirt and this is my first Opinel knife. They are both going to get used.
This Christmas Pool was a very good idea. I know this is the best group of guys on any forum I belong to.  :tu:

Merry Christmas the_longbow! The lanyard was a bit of experiment so I'm glad you like it! 5hif7ty sent me an awesome little (my first!) spyderco and a sweet swisstech pocket tool! Thanks 5hif7ty! I'll post pics of both tomorrow! Thanks Steve for making this happen!

Now that it's all out there, i am really disappointed that my recipient in Canada hasn't gotten his package in well over a week in a half airmail. He's only 250 miles north of me

With many of packages posted to Canada, they arrive either extremely fast or extremely slow they can't arrive in a normal time frame.

Mine has not arrived yet.  I am beginning to wonder if my postlady delivered it to the wrong address.  I got a magazine yesterday that is addressed 2 blocks away.

I believe mine is coming from somewhere in the states, but I checked my post office today and it's not there.  And the member who is sending it hasn't been active here in 12 days.  I hope everything is alright.
