Not heard anything about the gift I sent out and the recipient hasn't been active since December 09 2011, sorry to go on, just bit worried now :ahhh anyone else still waiting

I believe you sent to the guy who was sending mine.  I haven't seen anything from him yet and he hasn't been on in forever.

well i hope hes ok and that nothing bad has happened.
was he a new member?

No he's been here over a year he's just not very active.  Still I am concerned that something may have happened to him because he was excited about this pool.

Fixed, I also hope he's okay :pok:

No, not a new member, don't think it matters who's who now, so mine was going to RFOneWatt, would just like to know if it got there, that's all :pok:

He was my sender as well.  No word from him and no package.  My post office hasn't seen anything, but I don't really trust them anyway.

Don't know if this is going to help anyone but Ash sent me a MT I got from another member and she posted in the US on Dec 14th 2011 it only just arrived today Jan 6th 2012 so there may still be stuff out there in the mail system even this late ! have faith guys I was not too concerned as I know how bad the UK mail service can be at getting international items thru there system there snail speed slow really 8)

So keep the faith I am sure the items will turn up eventually, I once sent an item to a guy in Texas and it took 4 month 2 weeks and 3 day to be exact I actually mailed him a replacement which beat the original package by several months, he was kind enough to send back the second lot when the first lot arrived all be it rather late sometimes there is no rhyme or reason for the lateness of post it is just really really late sadly 8(

I love my leatherman tools like I love my lady an kids !

Terrible news RF.  Not that there's a good time for that to happen, but Christmas must be especially hard.

My condolences to you and your Family.

Thanks for looking into it Steve, you're a good dude.

No worries, if Essexman's doesn't make it, or even if they try to squeeze VAT out of him, I've got a little something extra ready for his Christmas stocking. :D

What a grand day I've had. Went to the post office first thing and picked up 3 small boxes.

Here's my Christmas gift from Turnsouth

A vey nice camo sheath..........and

A leatherman core, and a minimaglite with LED upgrade plus a tail switch upgrade! My 9yr old has her eyes on the maglite, she likes the purple colour.

He also included the Leatherman sheath

Turnsouth - thank you so much for taking the time and effort in sending overseas. These are far more than I expected. The best part is knowing that when I use them it will bring a smile to my face as I remember where they came from.

cheers

Nice sheath!  That looks like a Pock-Its XL, a sheath that has been part of my EDC for years.  I have worn that sucker in more bar fights than I care to remember, and it still looks good- there's no holes, no loose threads, no overly worn spots....   it's a good solid sheath.

They are great sheaths :tu: Not only great on your belt, but they are the perfect glove box kit.

The only issue I have with them is that I like them too much, and a few years ago I did my thing where I was worried that they might stop making them so I......well you know how I am.  :-[
