Some work with 0.9mm cord for a two bight turks head knot and common whipping on a small stainless steel anchor shackle(bow shackle/clevis).  It sort of looks like a mini chest becket...

Excellent knot work  :)  And the wire wrapping to crimp the leather loop on the monkey's fists is a nice touch too.  :tu:

Cheers Stormdrane. You know I just had some wire sitting at work that looked right, and it worked well. The 6 monkey fists were for a customer, so I supplied the wire for him to attached after installing the lanyard.

Never underestimate the amount of cord required for a new project. You would think 160 foot would be enough for a heavy duty dog lead…

No I don't!!  I do have 8yr old and 4 yr old girls, but I've been told I'm not allowed to use it on them for some reason.

Bit of a worry, my four year old was having a snack tea the other night. She likes those cheese strings things. I turned round after a cople of minutes to find this! :O

She couldn't understand why I wanted her to wait while I found the camera.

I use paracord for the usual lanyards etc, but my specialty is making paracord belts.  I make these with only 2 strands of cord in total. Each about 80 ft.

Here are a few items that I have made.  Stormdrane's Blog and TIAT's videos have been a great help.

I've tied some other items like key fobs, zipper pulls and lanyards, but I gave them all away.   The flashlight in the picture below is now in Iraq with my son.

I followed these instructions by JD of TIAT to make a sea turtle knot.

My first attempt, could be neater, and I made a few mistakes on the way.

The smile on my four year olds face made it worth the effort, now I need to make another for my 8 year old!

That's awesome.

Thanks for the kind words, but I only followed the details provided by JD, anyone can do it!  Really, get some cord, sit down, you can do it.

..And now a small lanyard for my SAK....

A couple of new leashes I made for the dogs yesterday.
Both are 8 strand square sinnet, used about 20ft of cord per color.
One is Royal blue, navy, and silver
One is rose pink, purple, and black (Kim picked the colors)
