I see-saw too!

That's awesome.  The shortening of the electricians blade wouldn't make any difference to its functionality.

How'd you retain the shield through the anodising process?

Those are stock red scales.

I have to say that I have noticed the older anodizing more durable than modern special run anodizing.  I didnt have any chipping problems at all.

Back to Ti 91's today.  :D

I used my jewelers saw and cut out a small + shape from brass.  It didnt quite fit the cutout but I pressed it in with my bench vice, then peened it from both sides.

The result was better than I hoped.  The rough waterjet texture of the inner walls of the + cutout were very grippy and peening the brass had the effect of locking it in rock solid.

This is just the rough sanding pass, it still needs to be wet sanded at 400, then 800 and then polished but I think it should look pretty sweet.  :D

Really dig the blue Electrician...

Do you plan to try mounting a clip onto the 91mm Ti or alox scales?

I got my anodized 91mm liners back today!  Lots of red and black for Ti 91 builds or for the BO'd tinkers I'll be making.

The group on the right are wenger liners and I'm happy to say they anodized just fine too.   :tu:

My stash of new SAKs to be upgraded.  :D

Thats for sure possible now.  Although Id lose the fish scaler personally.

The only tool layer that needs specific liners I dont have yet is the cybertool layer.

Wenger's liners. Are you making Wenger Ti as well?

They're for a wenger mod I posted a few pages back, merging a cigar cutter and some other layers.  Its for a customer and the tools will get BO'd and reassembled.
