One of my switch's pins got bent so I used my Juice's small pliers to bend it back straight  :multi:

(Thanks again, Nix, for this LM!)

Good use, very fond of the Juice line, the S2 punches above its weight IMO, the CS4 has been my travel MT for many years :like:

My Bond just got used harder than I have used pretty much every Leatherman. Normally I have a pair of 160mm Knipex combination (linesman's type with bolt gripping channel) in there along with a 8" pair because the smaller pair fits between staves; and the 8" gives me good leverage, but fits in tighter spaces than my full-on fence pliers.  Well, today, Granddad and I were checking fences in the UTV, and noticed that a corner of the lower line fence had been pushed from underneath. The people that own that property bordering us are downright horrible when it comes to maintaining their fence lines. So, I had to push the fence in and affix two clips. I had the clips. But, somehow, I'd misplaced the smaller pair of Knipex pliers. The specialty tool I bought for post clips got one side of the first clip I used in, and then the other side would not go. Finally, I just had to bend that end with my Bond. Not my ST300; not my Surge (or even my better-for-fencing multitool the Swisstool). Took it surprisingly well. For jobs like these, I try to avoid using PST/Rebar/Bond sized tools. Rebar has done it before, however. I Just wish LM would go back to finer teeth on the pliers. These newer style teeth don't grip well; but they do wear better.

I'm going to find a bolt and drill a small hole in it; or perhaps find a hitch pin that will work (which I had). While the speciality tool works, it really only works about half the time. A lot of times, it either doesn't fit, or the clip is at an odd angle.

I used my Surge several times this weekend. Today I opened a couple packages of Spax screws with the serrated blade. I used the pliers to get out a few wood screws that did not properly seat into some  plywood I am laying down to build up a subfloor. I used the saw to cut a small piece of ply to fit an area in a closet to help level before installing luxury vinyl planks. I used the bit exchanger and ratchet adaptor to dismantle an old office chair to fit in the trash.

So, what did you do today with the assistance if your LM?

No pics because...well, I was working on something.  I had a couple of big drywall patches to make and my Wave did a fantastic job with the serrated blade of making guided cuts to trim to size.  I've used the serrated blade more in the past month than I have in the previous 15 or more years.  And...I've learned how to sharpen that blade on my Spyderco sharpmaker deal.   The more I use the Wave, the less I think of the Bond.  I knew there was a reason I bought that first gen Wave 20 years ago.

Yesterday evening I went to the nearby river for a little "me time". The river has been high and muddy for quite long, which isn't good for fly fishing. But now it has lowered and cleared a bit so I managed to catch few chubs. The Wave rode with me and the scissors helped with cutting the excess line. What I found out is that I can take the scissors out, cut what I wanted, but instead of folding them back in the handle I just opened them so the tip would be covered (don't underestimate the tips on those small scissors, a Gerber Splice got me really good !). So next time I needed them they were one hand accessible and pretty much safe to carry. Knife cut some small branches from a willow tree to free my fly few times. The pliers helped get the hook out and safe the life of one especially greedy, finger sized, baby chub. A great way to end the week  :)

Pulse used to prize out the tools on the Pradel. Rust and dirt removed, blade sharpened, joints oiled. If not quite good as new, not at all bad

Egg Beaters!

Blood hell.  I've been raking my brain trying to think of the name of the stuff.  I've been "googling" so many things under the shopping tab that Google has stopped giving me results and is only telling me to click on my recent searches any more.

Get frustrated... pop on MTo... and BAM!  I have the answer.  Now I can finish my shopping list

No awl on the pulse Max :pok:
Needed something flat to gently lever up the awl on the Pradel, worked perfectly :tu:
