I just got the rebar. After having a helluva couple weeks debating features and tool sets. I was between the surge, wave, wingman/sidekick, juice xe6/s2. I was all over the place. Oh, I have a 90's super tool and 300 currently (and a freestyle  )

I'm liking this tool. It was ultimately impossible to get EVERYTHING I wanted in one package, but if this had a pocket clip and spring loaded pliers

Carries easy and is same size or a little smaller than my benchmade 300sn. Even fits in my 5th pocket of a few pants I wear which is fantastic, so I can have more stuff in my fronts! Really happy so far. The quality has seemed to differ from my previous tools however, it was only $50 so I can give some leeway. Btw, is the rebar still made in Portland OR? Or do these cheaper tools get the foreign treatment?

Thanks! Will post pics soon.

BO Rebar is resting in the snow... it was this winter. But I can´t remember when exactely.

I like the Rebar due to its small size and weight. When I don´t need the strong pliers of the ST300, the Rebar is a great tool to carry.

I'm loving my Rebar all over again!  Used the main blade to open up this survival pack of goodness after a hard day's work for both the Rebar and me!

Nice pic Steve

Also in the Rebar II what all did you have to do to get the scissors to fit :tu: I can sorta tell from the pic but I would like to know what all moved and what had to go :D

I put the scissors in place of the can opener. I ditched the lanyard ring and ground down the thickness of the can opener so it would fit in it's place. If I did it over again I would probably just ditch the can opener.

I thought that might have been the case  Just wanted to hear it :tu: Now why didn't LM just go ahead and put scissors in there if there was plenty of room ???
