I used the Mini Champ's main blade to liberate some button cell batteries from their blister packs. The packs were too small for the cut-and-picker blade to work.

Then I used the blade to pop out the old dead batteries.

Cut my 'hair' today with my beard trimmer. After that the clippers won't turn on again without charging. Saw a few rogue rebelious hairs left on my goatie and disciplined them with the scissors on my Farmer X.

Some gentle removal of plastic was needed to access the cork, and the goods:

Swiss Champ opened a package of replacement parts for it

A toothpick, tweezers, 3 pins, 2 pens, a lanyard and a backup sharpener - decided to have them just in case

Also used a package opener on a Spirit for the first time ever and man this thing rocks

Thank you, my friend

Btw how often do you guys replace the pen in your plus scales? How long will it last from your experience?

Only if the pen slot is empty. That drives me nuts (especially with translucent scales). I don't use the pen. Might be a different story if one could get them with black ink.

It's just a backup feature, for me. I awlways carry (at least) a pen.

Didn’t manage to snap an action picture but I’ve been bringing my electrician model with me every time I walk the dog. Why you ask? Because I have found the awl to be extremely helpful in opening those stubborn plastic doggy poo bags which seem to be glued shut on both ends. Yep that’s me the guy fiddling with the bags out in the cold because he forgot his SAK. Never again will I be without the electrician or some kind of alox model when walking my sweet girl Bella!
