That's a great point! The silencer is a hex tool that you use to swap the blades out, so it'd be really easy to do on the go too. It just takes a #11 scalpel  :tu:

Just bought the last display model of a brand spanking new BuckTool 360 Black from the Up Top Shop in Mindemoya Manitoulin Island. I bought a new in box one around 4 years ago from the same place. I thought I was passing lucky when I first found it back then. I am floored that I was still able to buy a tool that was discontinued back in 2002 new in box in 2021, mind you this was the last one. I just couldn't leave it there any longer. The staff not only congratulated me, but also thanked me, as they were eyeing that spot in the display case for ages for something else.  :facepalm:

They are very nice for something so compact.  I recently swapped out my pencil for the (same sized) ball point pen, they are the only thing that conveniently fits in my wallet.  In these covid days I like to have a pen that no-one else has touched.

I saw the pen and was tempted by it, how is it?

I just went with the pencil at the mo, because I have a lot of pens, but my only mechanical pencil now belongs to whomever raided my locker after the great covid cull  :rant:

Size wise the pencil & pen are much the same. I prefer the pen for two reasons:

1  No pencil lead to break off

2  Creates a permanent mark that is much more difficult to alter.

I haven’t done anything since I had so much stuff around the house to do and just haven’t had any time, yet our town has a page like “you want it, it’s yours free” and well, I spotted something and jumped on it, I’ve done two of them in the past because there’s a hockey rink across the street from our house and a couple kids must have broke them and just left them in the trash and well, I grabbed them and made two simple cheap hiking staffs, gotta be pretty durable being a hockey stick no? Anyway now I have a few more to work on when the time comes!

Our munchpak came in yesterday, for those who don’t know what it is, it’s a package of food from all around the globe, like a candy bar from Japan, bbq chips from Australia, or cookies from the UK, all mixed up and we get 12 pieces each time, we were busy yesterday so we’ll be trying them today..

Thanks to GearedForwards heads up, I just got a 3 Coil Puna in today. Neat little scalpel. The two included magazines are your Philips or flat screwdriver. The barrel unscrews and becomes your blade exchange tool. The gun body acts as a bottle opener, and there is a trigger that you use to remove the scalpel. A neat one this is.
