The TechCadet:

I had the Dremmel out and was about to do your mod, when another idea came to mind.  I did some grinding to sharpen the inside edge of the can opener to make it a clam packaging opener.  I did not have a clam pack to open so I tried it on the side of a Gatorade bottle (pretty think plastic) and it worked great.

Nice.   It's one I keep meaning to do but have never quite gotten around to yet.

OK so I had a bit of free time this morning and put it to some use.  A first glance this might look the same as my first ever mod the Huntsman slim.  However the big difference is that this is only 84mm long.

The pictures are on page three.  It's very easy BTW and a great way to make your SAK feel brand new.

It looks like used/replacement scales snap on using bear claws, Barney, or whatever is handy. 
New/custom scales need epoxy then?
