Coincidentally, I could use it as a bloody zipline mount since it'll support twice my weight. >.>

someone should make a video of that and post it on youtube.

Lol, maybe in the next MacGyver movie? XD  Granted, the hook is only capable of supporting 200 pounds; I think I'd be safe at my ~110, but that doesn't mean I'd actually try. XP

Ironically Richard Dean Andersson (MacGyver) has passed that 200 pound limit in later years. After all, he plays a general in the air force!

Anyways, I figured my latest paracord creation would fit as well in this thread as the paracord thread. Finding the right paracord for my Climber has turned into an obsession. I've prob made and fitted at least 10 paracords lanyards to it today, making new ones as I tried out various things. Wanted a light on there, so I tried fitting my ITP EOS A3 on there, but it was too clumpy. Tried some ways of fitting this smaller LED light, but thought it too big too. Posted on CPF looking for a even smaller light, but apparently $75 is needed for that and the price is because of "quality". I'm not paying 4 times as much for the LED light on the lanyard as I did the knife, so I tried making a smaller version of the lanyard I had with the $1.5 LED on it and I was very satisfied with the result. I kept the size down by removing the inner strands of the paracord, sewing instead of burning and sewing instead of knots on the ends, then used snake knots for the lanyard itself. Very pleased with the result.

Nice wood efforts chaps... always nice to see

I like the idea of the dremel extender thingy. It would certainly make some of the fiddly jobs easier.

I have to disappoint you there sappyg, it's not a photon, it's a $1.39 (for two) light from Dealextreme: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.20242
They also have a bunch of others; larger packs, brighter lights etc http://www.dealextreme.com/products.dx/category.900
I'm sure the photon is nice but I'm more than satisfied with both the brightness and build quality of this one. It has 4 good quality screws on the bottom to make it possible to switch out both the LED and batteries and it's so cheap I just ordered another bunch of them to put on lanyards I give away

Might want to consider these: 22,000mcd 10-pack.  I think they're the brightest ones DX carries, and they're cheaper by the ten-pack.  I've been giving these away like candy, and people really do seem to like them.
Half-ass done wholeheartedly!

It was made for Rick but as he's posted pics of it over on SOSAK online I can't imagine he'd be upset at me showing them here :)

So how much does an average Beeman-made custom SAK cost?

That depends entirely on tools required, alox, cellidor, liner type etc. as well as who is supplying the parts.  Its expensive ;)

Does it count as a SAK mod if I attach Victorinox scissors to a Leatherman?   :D
