Good job - nice tool set as well. What was your experience of carrying out the work?

Thank you!  :D

The hardest bit has been to make the new rivets. I bent a few before finding the right amount of force with each hammer strike. The pin has to "mushroom" but not bend.
The rest is pretty straight forward.

I didn't realize until now that this model has been invented by Scibeer a while back. Real name is Yoman

Did you use a regular hammer or a ball and peen?

I'd stick with the name you invented for it - it's cool and yours.

The more I look at the tool set the more impressed I am.

Thanks mate.
I just wish to have an awl instead of the hook. But if i remember correctly the awl is slightly too thin for that spot
otherwise it is indeed my favourite tool set.

I used a regular hammer

I always meant to try an awl in that hook spot too.  I think a custom size tiny washer would solve that problem of it being thinner.  It's still on my todo list to try.

 :D I'm getting better

I've got nearly all the SAK's I want to break and the ones I've already broken in one place ... well almost. I'm also about 8 miles nearer my Dremel than I was before, and the hammers and drills are only a few miles away from that. The rest of my tools haven't moved yet though. I think the work bench is currently 2 miles from my drill and 10 miles from the stand that takes the drill and sits on the bench. I don't have anywhere to site the bench to work on where I am, but that's a work in progress. I do have an electrical extension lead though

See, much better. :tu: Ain't progress wonderful   :D

I think we all agreed that the Yeosaw was missing an awl!
So without further due, here is the YEOSAWL :D

Took a bit of grinding to fit the awl at the back of the woodsaw. The liner had to be slightly reprofiled to access the nail nick easily.

I remember seeing a lot of pics of this particular specimem here on the forum, not sure about a vid of it. I found accidentaly while searching some birch bark container, I wonder if 91mm Ti liners can have cuted out a liner lock.

Forgive me if this vid was already posted.
