Swisschamp Sunday!

I looked but I didn't see anything like this, so on the heels of Spartan Saturday, here comes Swisschamp Sunday!  The longer I'm around this knife, the more I like it!!

I got a Swisschamp in the 1980s... last saw it in the 1990s... found the pouch the other day but no Swisschamp... I'd post a picture but it's just too sad. A crumpled old pouch with nothing in it...

I really should get a new one!

I've got one on the must have list too Thunderpants....the one pictured is my son's knife.  For as big as they seem, they balance out pretty nicely.  My list of lost tools brings tears to my eyes.....'84 PST, SOG Powerlock,....nothing lonelier than an empty pouch.

There's a Swiss Champ owners club, but what the heck - any chance to show off the knives.

Since my Swisschamp is almost always in my pocket, I approve of SCS!

Can I play if I bring my Champion ?

I have carried it most days for the last 30 odd years, unless I am booted and suited. Since I joined this forum you lot have corrupted me into carrying other models and to be honest I feel like I'm cheating on her, it will be nice to have an excuse to drop her in my pocket.

I used to be a Swisschamp guy, but since I carry the Compact or Deluxe Tinker, I feel the Swisschamp was too thick to carry.

But in the end of April I'm going to travel with my family to celebrates my grandma's birthday. I need one SAK to take care almost anything. So since last week I picked the Swisschamp again from my drawer. The first day I still thought it was too thick, but after a week I'm in love again with my Swisschamp.

For me it's Swisschamp everyday!

When I started reading your post I thought to myself.

"Self, it looks like you might be picking up a nice used SC cheap."

Glad you are getting along with it though. The SC is one of the best SAKs imo.

Yes I'm so happy to carry the SC again after a long time which I always carry another SAK.

For this family trip, at the first place I was confused about which SAK to carry and I have an idea to carry SAK combo such as (Spirit + Compact) or (Deluxe Tinker + Farmer) or (Spirit + Manager). But suddenly I remembered my SC, the SAK that I always carry for several years since 2001 and went to the drawer since I became acquainted with Compact and Deluxe Tinker in 2013.

Btw this time I carry the newer SC, my old SC which my father bought in 1987 was my first SAK and I have no intention to use it again. I keep it for memories purpose.

Me too SG, my favorite SC currently lives in an SOS set (altered contents) in my tool bag alongside an MT (usually a SwissTool X) and other sundries. Always close by and easy to grab and go if needs be.  :)

What terrific pics everybody!  I used to think how ungainly they looked until I actually handled one.  Honestly, I love the way they feel and carry!

Thank you Styx.  It feels quite a bit different than the smooth regular scales and more interesting to look at for sure.
