I just saw one the other day myself Gary.  I can count on one hand the onesx I've seen over the years.  Definitely not a Classic moment   This one didn't even pay attention to me.

I've seen one as well about the same distance as you IMR.  I wasn't sure it was what I thought it was.  I carry a fixed blade with me on my work days but I don't think I'd want to tangle with one.  I also carry pepper spray as well so I'd likely give a blast if it was to get curious for my comfort.

You know, Tony, you might just have the right idea.  Going light for summer.  Classic on the key chain could just do most everything anybody needs to do most days.  Do you put yours straight on the key chain or use some kind of carabiner or snap link?  I keep pretty good track on the bobcats and assorted other critters around here with trail cameras.  They do infra red video at night and color video during the day.  The critters movements trip them automatically.  It has been a great hobby.  Best wishes. I have a regular split ring! 2 house keys, 2 club keys, a ti whistle and 2 tags- past dog's and one made by a kid on another old site (no dog tag- has my SSN).
Sometimes a halyard clip from my ship on the belt loop, sometimes just bottom of pocket.
I used the Classic SD blade today and scizzors twice.
So SAK drawer, military and antique, folder draw... and I still have a Little Knife with me!

 :iagree:

I’ve been on vacation and the classic SD alox has been getting the most used so far. Even though I have my minichamp Alox (coin pocket) and Farmer in side pocket. I’m finding most times it’s easier just to grab my keys which are right there in my main right pocket. I’ve got a little metal quick release doohickey thingamabob which was originally from a fishing leader- so the CSD can detach quite quickly.

Rather than fishing around in the coin pocket for the minichamp or going in the side pocket for the farmer, I’ve just been grabbing that classic alox and it’s gotten the job done 99% of the time.  :dunno:

I walked down my long, rough driveway to see if any trees were down after the terrific thunderstorms from yesterday.  Cut several overhanging rose branches , some Chinese privet,  some walnut branches, and one 20 foot long saw briar.  All with the Trooper saw.  No bob cat attack today.  Didn't even see a bobcat track.
Then I checked the mail in my battered mail box.  A gift package.  From our friend and the master of ceremonies for Little SAKS, TonySal. Here is a picture of what was in it.  Many thanks and best wishes.  Gary (IMR)   [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

A Rally that a friend sold me for $1 at a flea market.  The weird old folder is an old advertising knife from about 60 years ago.  My Dad carried it to nip fishing lines and scrape his finger nails.  The lever pulls up and allows the blade to be slid back into the knife handle.  Then the lever folds over it to close up.  It needs a clean up.  No maker stamp.  Best wishes.       I looked for a maker's mark on the little folder.  Nada.  Handles look like Tenite.  They are marked Standard Chemical Products Inc. Greenville SC and are dated Feb 1 32.  Maybe somebody out there was interested.  Probably not.  Best wishes Gary

58mm Chase Bank doing mini-donut opening chores.  Mmmm.  I wish I had them out by the beach in Throggs Neck.  The rest of the Throggs Neck Small Sak Appreciation Club could have a few with me.  Maybe even a few donuts too.  Best wishes. Gary
