Nice set of 'trads', Steve!  :like: :tu:

Lütters &  Cie.  (Löwenmesser)  Model 1038.

A simple wood handled carbon steel slipjoint workers knife.
Great springs,  good quality,  sharpens easy and has a good grip.
Yesterdays knifes were designed to work with.

Whenever I see a video if someone wearing working gloves while testing a new tacticool knife I assume the handle isnt made for working longer than 2mins...

I get the impression that most of them are trying to protect their hands in case they come in contact with the edge while doing “spine whack tests”, stabbing steel drums, etc.

I was undergoing radiation treatment the past week and kids were making me stay quiet, so I entertained myself with a auction site, maybe I got carried away,
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Oh yes!  There are two more arriving this week, a 301 flat grind with long pull and a German Stag traditional made by Hen & Rooster Cigar Pattern.

I have avoided the GEC auction bids. So far

Thank you each and Steve too!

Treatments completed, NOW wait 90 days to see if they targeted correctly
I was diagnosed June 2021, surgery Sept 2021, removed awl infected tissues, January 2022, blood test clean, March 2022, questionable, 2nd blood test confirmed in late April, Pet scan in July 2022, isolated 1 Lymph node glowing RED, in a new area near the first,  then scheduled for Radiation using CyperKnife technology, (like a sniper rifle instead of shotgun pattern), now wait again

Patience is to be virtuous, but in reality just more time to find and clean knives, enjoy grandkids, and ENJOY life and FRIENDSHIPS. 🌹🌹🌹
