Busy last few days tho y'all have been even busier  :tu:.  Some fine knives as always.

Today might turn out busy so just in case I've selected GEC Pemberton, Kutmaster, Tony Bose Stockman.  I "should" be covered  :D.

It's risky, but I think you might manage.   :D

Some great carries here, as awlways! :like: It is a shame to hear about the slushy snow, though.

I'll probably be carrying this modified Camillus 27 for a few days. The screwdriver layer was deleted, and hopefully I'll add an easy open cutout someday. It's a finger-breaker!

I hesitated to buy this RR Cinnamon Barlow, as the reviews have been mixed, but I'm very glad I did.  Yes, some of the scale colour comes off, but a bit of brown sharpie and all is well.   :D

I have been wondering about the durability of RR knives. There are several models that look good to me, and the three RR work knives I have appear to be made well. So I have been tempted to buy more. You seem to be happy with your RR pocket knives, so I am more tempted to do it  :D

I'd say no less durable than any other trad by-and-large.

Yes, I like my Case knives more but they're not four times better, just four times the price.   ::)

Very well said!  :iagree:

I like my Case knives too!  Certain patterns over others.

It is all about your personal fancy, for me I am drawn to Canoe pattern, and some older styles of Barlow.

Rough Rider knives and Rough RYDER knifes fill the itch for value and style.  I have found the Rider style is simple, functional and durable. This picture shows 3 of my knives, I just like the style and do carry.

The RYDER style can be simple and also can be flashy in the same pattern.
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Overall, the models on the left were purchased from a action site or flea market for about 1/2 the cost of 1 Case Canoe.

The knives on the right are RYDERS, from SMKW, all new, and average of $15 each.

It all depends on what you want, I like simple and cheap, with value and quality as a freebie😎

Nice Trio David.
The pruner looks old!

Curious if you ever tried using aluminum foil on the blade to remove some of the rust from the blades surface?

Aluminum foil is softer that the metal and will not scratch the blade steel. If you apply a metal cleaner/polish, let set and then roll a piece of foil up in a ball and rub along the surface it bright the finish.

I have used bar keepers friend and Case’s with some success to neglected blades.
