Not carrying it because April but very pleased with it so far.

Action is good and it came sharp enough with an even grind. Very much enjoy the feel of the Stag handles. Size is perfect to fit in my large Carhartt jeans fifth pocket.

Didn’t notice the nail nick is actually a hole though the blade. I like this as it makes gripping the blade to open super easy. There is also a false edge on the back of about half the blade that looks nice.

The SWEDGE along the spine is very different for the typical drop point. 👍
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

My last day of trads for a while as I am signed up for back to back SAK challenges starting tomorrow.  So what to carry today? Not much going on, go see my daughter in a musical,,,, maybe re-string a guitar. I felt like the Case Cigar Jack would get me through the day with no problems.

Very nice pair!   Both appear to have served well over time.  (By the patina on each)

GA1dad - a Cigar Jack, interesting!

What is the length of the handle?  And what is the model number?

A interesting looking knife that appears equally useful just as a Medium Jack😉

PS:  You can still visit this thread while you utilize those red and shiny Swiss tools.  Your comments and opinions are always constructive!

Thanks

I believe the model number is 62055,,, about 3.25"/3.5" closed. It is a good pocket sized knife

Nice !    :tu:

Hate putting new strings on my acoustics. They never sound as good as when the strings break in a bit.

I have a Fender classical that has 25 to 30 year old strings on it. It belonged to a friend that passed away. He told they were 15 years old when he gave it to me, but wanted to see how long they would last. Since then I have left them on it to continue his test. And strangely,,,, it still sounds great!
