Was able to get out and snap a pic of a knife I got a little while back...A 2017 Bladeforums GEC Tom's Choice Barlow. 1095 with Natural Canvas Micarta scales. Haven't got to use it yet but I sure like lookin' at it!  :D



My health still sux most days and is just crappy others.  Great to see everyone and really glad to see the thread still going strong!!!  Hoping I can get back more often to visit.

Sorry the pic isn't as nice as what I used to shoot but it's been a while.

Going on 3 months and the Roundhead barlows are the only traditionals I've carried.

I'll see yours Dean and match.  :) Not left my side. But then I usually carry a knife for months at a time. This time however I've sold off everything else (other than a SAK Pruner and my GEC #18 which is my suit knife).

I don't have the tools to get it super crazy sharp but it's been shaving sharp for over a month of daily use. Doesn't matter what I do, it still shaves! Biggest test recently was cable ties. These are rather notorious from my experience for being able to significantly dull a SAK with one swipe. I've cut some 25 cable ties over the past week, thick tough ones. It's still popping those hairs off my arm.

Rough Rider Marlin. This thing is BIG!

The quality is excellent - blade and spike are nice and tight, the scales are jigged bone.
