This one is my modded PST 1.5, blade and file from a PST 1 but also scissors. It resides in my fishing bag and got to help me unhook a pike. I didn't measure it or get any photos before throwing it back but in hindsight it was probably around 90 cm (35 inch).

(Image removed from quote.)

Great pic. I love the idea of swaping the blade on a PST II with a non-serrated one.

Day 2

My EDC of choice these days is this reshaped and rescaled Spartan, here hanging out with another set of scales in production.

(Image removed from quote.)

Those scales are beautiful  :like:

Thank you, I'm quite happy with the result myself except I didn't calculate the angles correctly. Now the large blade leans forward a bit and the spine is almost perfectly in line with the handle when open.

Thanks, I realise I'm a bit unusual but I got the PST 2 without the diamond file to keep the cost down and just swapped the blade in on my primary PST. Thus building what it seems like many would call a worst-of without the scissors and diamond file and with the serrated blade.

I should have a spare non-serrated blade if you're interested. Might be expensive shipping it across the Atlantic though :-\

Thanks for the offer. I have a PST with busted screw drivers around that I will gut for this project, if I find it and the time to do so.

ya for public possession Texas is 5,5in max single edge only.
no swords, Bowie, clubs, batons, tomahawks, etc there are some acceptable reasons such as hunting, camp, ceremony and reenactment
this is just a very rough overview the knife portion of penal code 46
