Probably the weirdest folder in my collection is the Böker Magnum Quick Flip. It opens sideways and locks both open and closed. It seems sturdy enough but I don't carry it.

Lightning and now heavy showers forced me to stop cutting loops at the moment. 
Retreated to truck, and the WAVE insisted on a pose shot to be shared.  Along with reflection of concrete saw in mirror under canopy!
