This is my K9 Dingo, my favourite hard use knife.
#13 from the first run of 50 pieces, the steel is CPM3V which is hardened by Paul Bos to around 60 HRC.
The edge was reprofiled to 40 degrees inclusive by myself, and kept hairpopping sharp on a loaded leather strop.
Handleslabs are green canvas Micarta.

At this moment on Jerzee Devil forums a member there is offering 500 dollars to obtain one of these.
I won't sell. :D

Overall length: 26,5 cm
Edge length: 12,6 cm
Blade thickness: 6,5 mm

Well it took me a while to upload a few pics and I definitely need to take some better ones with the tripod, but....  here are my two favorites
SOG Government and SOG Desert Dagger

I've taken the Government camping many times and have put it through some hard labor.  Once when I left on the spur of the moment, I forgot a few essentials that I'd normally take with me...but not my Government.  I spent just under a  week camping using it and a big rock to chop up all my fire wood.  Worked great.

What's the fit and finish like on recent Barkies ???

I've seen a lot of the early ones, and they were a bit variable to say the least :-\

You're right, they can be a bit variable, but I guess that's to be expected coming from a semi-production, semi-custom knife factory where every knife is hand ground and sharpened.

I've always been happy with my Barkies, because they have all been users.  But there are flaws to  be found.  I would say that their most recent production lines have the same problems when it comes to Fit and Finish.  I don't know why this is, but Bark River always says if you aren't happen with it, send it back and they will fix it.  I know this can be a pain in the butt for people overseas, heck even for us here in the states.

But, I  own between 25-30 Barkies(I honestly have no idea how many exactly) and I've never sent one back.

I absolutly hate those videos. Now what purpose did that actually show? Like destruction tests, What did it show. I set out to destroy this knife and look at me , I did it.

I do appreciate the knife destruction tests for the tip pry testing, flex testing, and hilt hammering testing. Such things could be well appreciated on a beater knife.

Some of the knives tested are very pointless, however...

See that is where we differ. I am not a collector but a user. I never could stomach safe queen knives, and i really think all knives need to be used. I use them in a destructive manor but never push a blade beyond its limits. I find these test silly. What do they prove in a real life situation? All they show is that you can break a cinder block with one or hammer it into a 2x4 and twist it out. When is the last time anyone has had to do this?

It actually makes me laugh at Noss tests on utube. He really shows 2 mins of cutting then 30 mins hitting them with hammers. Just plain silly.

I totally agree.  Knives are for cutting things, show me a review of how well a knife cuts things and I'll watch.

That Game Warden is a good looking knife though GG. :salute:
