I must’ve missed it... what’s with the black stripe (tape?) around your 110?

Putting all my Buck stuff together tonight while organizing. Thought about the challenge when I saw the Buck Selector. Thought it was a composite handle 110 for a minute and wondered how the challenge would have went if I used it. But, it is not a 110, it is a folding Buck "Selector" with removable blade attachments. The combo blade is ground for left hand cut, which is neat. Cool knife, but wouldn't have qualified for the challenge. Also, one if the pics is the twin(NIB) to the 110 I modified.  And the 780 Exert (walmart exclusive ) is a current favorite.
Pontificating particularly pious positions pertaining to polymorphic paraphernalia. G-Man.

Failing this challenge is just another of the let downs I have had to deal with in the last 2 weeks.  :-\
When you struggling to wipe your own ass then taking photos seems to take a back seat.

I have been carrying the 110 all along; couldn't even open a OHO knife at first.  Two handed lockback is fine in this state.
I must say its handy when your dexterity is restricted to have a large simple ergo knife like the 110.

I have removed the cast on the left Ulna break (its just a wound now after the Ti upgrades) to make life bearable; going to the doctor on Monday to change the cast to a brace on the right. Modern medicine (Orthopeadic Surgery) is so advanced these days and it looks like I will be able to get on a bike in about 4 weeks from now.

I am out of two enduro events I have been planning for over a year (Roof of Africa for one), I may be fit again for one in October.

Good luck!

4 weeks of waiting takes long.
Trust me, I know...

BUT it'll be worth it ;)
