Very nice (btw your chopping block's in much better shape than mine).  :like: Is that a Prandi?

I chopped up my chopping block shortly after i made my splitter, i only really use the axe now for the ones not worth picking up

Axe is a Rhineland pattern Stubai  :tu:

Thank you!  Got it while I was visiting.

I watched a docu recently about a couple of guys that escaped from Alcatraz on a raft made with 50 or so stolen raincoats although nobody knows if they made it or not, all very interesting
Did you ask Capt. John Mason?  I remembered he escaped from there unscratched.

Fuzzaxe Day 13

Not much happening today, but I did manage a little wander this afternoon which was pleasant. I've paired Fuzzaxe with a GEC 71* - they seem to me to be an excellent match.

Day 14

Used Chip Chop to chop cut open a few packets inside the ramen noodle box, total overkill and Mrs. did even bother to roll her eyes on this one... :D

Day 14

Bruce must be getting sick of hanging out in my messy shed. Going to take a lot of work to get it organised.
Lansky puck for Fuzzy reference.
I managed to install some new LED lights to replace the old fluorescent ones, but I need another one over my bench, I reckon. Might rig one of the fluoros to try for starters

Thank you, that's helpful as it's smaller than I thought.  :salute:

Also, your bench under all that crap* looks a pretty decent workspace!  :like:

*Only kidding, I know it's not all crap.

Not all, but probably most of it, except the tools.
I'll get a handle on the Hytest Forester one day. The most common size head you see everywhere is 4.5lb. I'd like to find a 3.5
