When I first heard the word “vegemite”, I assumed it was some sort of dynamite substitute that the British developed from vegetables in WWII to conserve strategic resources. I was disappointed to learn that it’s just food.
Continuing on this line of thought... I bet it would’ve mostly been made out of beans

Day 7:

Awl got used to clean out the head of a decking screw destined for removal.

Actually, the awl was used several times for this purpose. Love the awl!   :tu:

DAY 07

Today at work was a tad slower than yesterday. Stopped at a new place and tried their Asada street taco and one of their Sonoran dogs.

I used that Huntsman toothpick after the asada taco. Earlier in the day I used that main blade to cube cheese and cut a muffin for breakfast.

DAY 07Another use for the Explorer Phillips driver- used it today to tighten some drawer pulls.
Then used the Mag to look at the pups paw after she got some tiny sharp pine needle stuck between her toes
The princess is all clear and happy again

Upon walking in my door I noticed my screws holding the door jamb strike plate were loose. Can opener did the trick quickly and then back in my pocket.

The small blade on the Huntsman opened this comically large box with way too many packing peanuts. I didn't think anything shipped this way anymore. Inside were some pineapple shaped glasses that will get turned into centerpieces.

The Mountain Yeoman was helpful at reading a label at the grocery store and cutting open a bag of chicken.  I didn’t get an action shot and was inspired by the cute dogs, so here is Fisher with the Mtn Yeoman
