Day 14: On the road today at a football camp with my youngest.  Cut open some instant breakfast with the scissors and sliced it with the main blade.

DAY 14  Flag day here in the states, and I opened a package containing shotgun slugs.  These are easy to load; powder, a shot wad, then the slug, so of course I skipped the wad in one and stuffed the slug way down in the shell.  The awl could not extract it, and I resorted to a small screwdriver.

The new-to-me Huntsman Plus in the process of being cleaned, sharpened, etc. Opens a bit smoother today, but still gritty and dull. Letting it dry and will take another poke at it this evening or tomorrow.

Day 14:

Nice hike today. Very windy and cold. I swear I thought I saw snow flurries for a few moments.

The wind muffled my noises and scent, and I was able to sneak up on five different deer during the hike.

   Thanks, Barry.

I think I need to find a better camera, though. The cell phone is usually close at hand, but doesn't really allow me to capture some of the great critters and birds I get to see.

DAY 14

Just used that main blade again on this Huntsman to cube up cheese for work. I guess food prep is my main use of a Victorinox.

Repeated yesterday’s hole poking experiment, for science. This time with extra fizzy water.

DAY 14Used the Explorer scissors to cut some blue waxed hemp twine for a pergola I was building today.
Really Missed not having the saw today but I did use the pen to mark down a measurement.
No action shots but here is a picture of the explorer next to an uncle Henry just for scale  :D
