Just because you can afford the good stuff, it doesn't mean you should brag about it.   :twak:

to slice carrot heads off before peeling and eating.

Mrs. Powernoodle and I have debated whether carrots require peeling since, you know, they don't have a peel.  I say no.  She says yes.

So we peel our carrots.

It keeps carrot much moister if you peel them. Also when making grated carrots i allways peel just for moisture (taste better)

Congratulations on your new DF Antti!  They really pack these things like they're made of gold or something. :twak:

Powernoodle I hope those meals are as good as they look.

Powernoodle I hope those meals are as good as they look.

Some are "take it or leave it", while others are pretty yummy.  So its basically trial and error.  I grade each one and put the menu in a binder.

DAY 16

After a run of early shifts there's not much doing (too knackered)
Used the SD cap lifter to open a small imbibement  :drink:

Despite being a small & simple bottle opener I think it's one of the best there is  :dunno:

Day 17

Used the CD blade to free a Fuse from the shipping box. Both Fuse and sheath appear unused. This is my first Zytel Leatherman.

Powernoodle Day 18

Seems like food is a big part of our lives.  That's weird.

I used the Armbar to open 5 kg/11 lbs. of black rice from Amazon.  I read that you can confirm that its real black rice (and not dyed) by soaking a few grains in white vinegar.  If the rice releases pinkish anthocyanins, then its real.  Or so they say.  This rice did turn the vinegar pink.
