Day 26, Bit overkill for a nail file, but it gets the job done

Day 26

Loose door knob was a pretty easy fix. Half stop might've been helpful, but not required. Not sure how hard that'd be to engineer into the Flex's setup.

Day 26 (Viengt-Six) did today finally got an Workpicture: I though it might not be the worst idea to tighten up the big torx screw and on the Papercutting thing at work , might be it’s works now better ..
and I did change the Tool Setup a tiny bit : I did decide that I want pocket carry this Retroid Pocket Flip2 when I get it end of next month, it’s looks too nice in Ice Blue to get scratches.. so my Pocket got enough space for booth EDC Pouches, so enough space for booth ROXON Flexes, but I did change the Huntsman to the S19 so the Companion got the hook ..

Your SAK is only fully yours, when it bites you, or you opend a Trink of your joice whit it
SAKs i have: Huntsman Light (Red Transparent), Workchamp (Black), Wenger EvoGrip S557 (Red), Swisschamp XLT (Red Transparent).. Swisschamp (Blue Transparent) Cybertool L (Blue Celidor (custom scales) , Huntsman (Black Celidor) , Victorinox EvoGrip S557 (Red, but sadly lost in my house somewhere) Victorinox Delemont S17 and S57 ..  , waiting for: Swiza D09 Blue

Day 27

Took all of 10 seconds to slip the pliers out of my pocket and bend the coat hanger hook back into shape. It would have gone undone had they not been in my pocket.

Day 27

Taught the kids some knots. Some of them jammed them up pretty well, but nothing the marling spike couldn't handle.

Day 27 (viengt - sept)  did a bit rearranging was also thinking of getting rid of carrying all 3 Tools:
iPad Mini, IPhone , Flashlight, Roxon Flex Plier , Roxon Flex Companion, booth EDC Pouches and the Vic S17 where 1,5 kg, but then I did put only the IPad and the IPhone on the Scale: they alone where 700 grams so one MT more or less doesn’t matter ..

Day 27
Tested out the Companion as an outdoor twig stove tool.
The saw worked pretty well.  The wood blade in the t-shank adapter worked but not as well as the saw.  The blade stood up to batoning a couple stciks without any damage and also worked for feathering a stick.

Day 28

I had my Roxons at the lake yesterday aswell but didn't take pics of it (just of the junior customods). We did a small hike and made a fire to grill some sausage and hot dogs. Here's a random pic for today's post.

Day 28, so now that I have messed around with both of these over the past month I really begin to believe the Flex companion combined with something like the Knipex Cobra XS makes the most sense. My reasoning is based on the fact you can select up to 5 long  or short implements and have the 1/4 inch adapter. Enjoyed this challenge. Think modular tools are  only going to gain popularity.

I tried the sheepsfoot for a bit in place of the OHO, but I don't like the half open and pinch mechanism.

On Day Viengt - Huit (28), I did on the evening rearrange my tools and did plan for my rest of the year EDC:
I think I will carry the Cybertool for the Bitdriver and the Roxon Plierbased Flex for every tool that is not on the Cybertool and for the Knife : it’s a better knife tool than the companion because it’s doesn’t make the Blade One Hand Open, the lever brings the blade a few mm up, so you can grap it a bit more easy, but you still need 2 hands ..
the companion will go in my backpack when I need bigger bits ..
