Very nice carries and pics everyone!

...

Since I've enjoyed carrying the Kick so much I decided to put its plain edge back in for now as well as add scissors to make it more of a light one man show edc.

Thanks,  and that's a nice "infused" Kick  :2tu:

@psg Glad you're feeling better!

@McStitchy thanks, yes it is infused indeed. It has nearly the same loadout as a PST2 but with saw rather than file (and no mini flathead).

@Antti I'm liking your plier based Vics! That MXBS is pretty sweet (as is the Spirit as always). They're about as close to perfection as multitools can get.

I used the Kick for prepping food, removing some rusty nails, bending cutting and stripping wire, sawing some boards and tightening some screws. I was also carrying half of a Wave in a small satchel. I used the knife a couple times and the file. Tomorrow I'll probably be carrying the other half of said Wave.

Here's what I've got on me now. The other half of that Wave and the plier head and half of a Rebar. The idea is to increase tool selection, have an OHO locking main blade, pocket clip AND reduce weight!

My Kick has the scissors, so I've paired this with an executive. I may make some changes yet if I can figure out outside opening scissors.

I was just yesterday gonna ask how do you like the tools that can be opened only when the handles are closed. But I quess here is some kind of answer to that :D

That's a really cool set of tools. I like the half/half handle thing!

I really do like the convenience of a one handed opening blade. In fact I've adjusted and lubricated this "Reaver" (I think that is what I'm going to call it, though I'm sure I'm not the first) so that I can flick the blade open.

Having said that though, my Kick and Pulse are worn in and adjusted so as I pull one out I can swing it open at the same time so I can directly pick out a tool or with a squeeze start using the pliers.
Other than pliers it isn't one handed but still very quick and I was surprised how much of a difference an adjusted tool makes since before my only all inside tool was a Rebar which is still quite stiff and clunky so I had an idea in my head that outside opening tools are always better.  :climber:

Nothing compares to a smooth opening LM!

Is it a Rebar thing to always have stiff handles? I had mine for 7 years almost daily use and got the pliers to open easily by gravitation only but the handles were still stiff.

Carrying the Curl today :)

It must be a Rebar thing... I'm sure it is possible to break them in eventually to buttery smoothness but they seem to come pretty stiff.

I like playing around with all multitools and trying many combinations as a hobby but honestly for me right now the Curl and the Spirit are my choices for best solo carry EDC... well also the Juice CS4.

Last night I finally got around to taking apart a switch on a lamp one of my sons broke (remember when I said that a lot of my tool use comes from those rascals?). With all the tools on my Reaver I had on me, I still opted to go to a nearby drawer to grab a SAK as the can opener is such a good thin but not too sharp pry tool. Looks like I'm going to need to remedy this on my reaver somehow.

Yeah I remember :D Im waiting for our baby to grow up so she can learn to break (cheap) stuff that I can fix!    :salute:

That SAK can opener is golden for occasional screws and prying stuff open. That's one reason I like to carry a Spartan or Huntsman every now and then.  :climber:

I think a perfect EDC MT for me would be the Curl or the Juice CS4. Would like to try the CS4 out but it's a shame that it's a rare find. For SAK I would like a Farmer X but as I got a Huntsman already it's hard to reason myself a new toy  Oh wait. Father's day is coming soon!!

Carrying an old cheap knockoff today. Not sure what to call it. Looks like some sort of Cybertool knockoff, the build quality is not great but it could definitely be worse. It's missing new scales as I've pried the old aluminun scales off but can still be carried in the pocket as the pins are quite flush with the scales. Im trying how I like the pliers and the bit driver of it :)

How fun, I once bought something like that just to mod. I've used this several times and it has been fine.

Thats a cool build!

Quess Im now in the modding business also if I ever get to assemble this! :D

I tried to bend the scissors to cut better. Well, the big Knipex linesman pliers + LM Crunch combo was eventually too much and the scissors kind of exploded. Who needs scissors anyways! So I thought why hammer all the pins out and make someyhing useful out of it.

Im thinking of making around 3 layer tool. Not sure what tools to have in it but Im liking the bit driver and the pliers :)

After this small incident I carried the Huntsman for the rest of the evening. Actually used the can opener when playing with our godson with some legos. It's almost impossible to break some legos apart with your nails if the edges are flush.

There you go! Make it your own  :D

Speaking of modding, I managed to spend some time tweaking the 'Reaver' and now it is pretty much how I want it, with just some cosmetic touch ups yet to be finalized as well as a chisel needing to be added to the file and some opener tool changes (and maybe a pull cutter on the SE blade).

It sits at about 220 grams and compared to a standard Wave it has 2 more tools, a Rebar awl and long medium width flat head.

I took a little inspiration from the Signal and threw in a tool on the end under the main blade. The mini driver is easily accessible and the bit sits safely under the file.

I think I'll be carrying this for a while. I'll be adding it to the pliers based mod thread once I am all done.
