Since Leatherman is obviously reading this... Please drop the "for phillps" screwdriver from the new E4 bring back the old one it was perfect as is. Also don't discontinue the Micra. Its by far the best scissor based multitool.

I agree about them not EVER dropping the Micra.  And I hope they don't ever try to tweak it either.  Tha little tool should remain one of their standards no matter what technology comes along.

I agree they got the Micra right the first time. Someday it will be an iconic American product like the Zippo.

Personally, I like the Morpheus speech!!

"Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall;
 Some run from breaks of ice, and answer none:
 And some condemned for a fault alone." -William Shakespeare, King Lear (1608), Act IV, scene 6, line 169

But when you look at a whole line, and satisfying various customer needs, nothing compares.
Still gotta disagree with that. Yes Leatherman is doing a wonderful job at giving people what they want but if you want to look at the "whole line" I think the Swiss Army Knife line is even more varied than the LM line, There's literally hundreds of different SAK's in all shapes and sizes. And their pliers based multi-tool line is growing too. They may move a little slower than LM on somethings but I think, in general, they are very good at listening to their customers. Both companies are great.

I was wondering why I did not see any of the tools you guys were mentioning.  I thought it was some sort of humor thread or something.  That will make SHOT show more to look forward to.  I did not catch the thread until after they were removed.

Yeah a lot of the gangs in the film are much more OTT than in the book IIRC, although I admit it's been a long time since I saw the film and even longer since I read the book.

I never read the book.  I bought the DVD a few years back when they re released it.  But like all the movies in my DVD collection, I never watch them.  I'll watch them if I'm flipping through the channels but rarely take out a DVD I own and watch it.  It's like I want to have it just in case.   :think:

I'm certainly guilty of buying DVDs, watching them once and never again.  For some reason my wife thinks I should then get rid of them.  Sometime I feel she just doesn't understand. ::) :D
