Traded a brand new Rebar and used Micra for this used Manix 2 with S11OV steel. Time to sell my Resilience

Well done! Handled one of those once, very well balanced and great ergonomics!

Cool pics ez 8) :like:

Thanks
Took them in a Gawden in Maine at a house I was working on!
(Image removed from quote.)
Not sure I spelled Gawden correctly but that is how it sounds like it spells up there?

Ezdog...

I believe the pronunciation is more like:

"Gaaahden." As in "aaah!" Like just after taking a sip of a delicious, refreshing beverage on a hot summer day.

Either way, that sure is a gorgeous house.

Thanks that does seem more correct when you explain it like that for sure!

As in"Paaahk the Caaah in the Yaaahd over there.

or Don't Faaahget to try the Chowdaaah at the Haaahba!

I love it up there!!!

I'm Staahting to get the hang of the New England Accent myself. Being from the country, I stick out like a sore thumb every time I open my mouth in Boston, but I at least now know where to find Staahbucks  :D

Well what really kills me is that they can tell if you are from Boston or Maine too somehow by your accent?

More great pics today :dd: :like:

Cool looking house pic ez :o What were you doing on it?
Well.......
I start by flying down to South Florida from STL,work there a few days at 3 different places and then load the clients new Escalade and drive it to Bar Harbor essentially.
Then I work there for a Week fixing everything broken in the house and pick them up at the Airport and stay another Week thinking of things to install or add and then drive back to STL from Maine!

This trip my main task was to extend the house Network to a detached Gaaahden wirelessly about 1/4 mile away so they can stream music and use the internet from the Gaaahden.

Then at the end of the Summer I go back up there and get the car and drive it back to South Florida and fly back home.

It sounds sort of silly as I type it all out but it pays the bills for sure.

Someone has to do it! :ahhh

Aaah, the lovely Baaah  Haaabaaah.

Summered there last year. Right in the shadow of Cadillac Mountain - the mountain where sunlight first touches the US in the morning  (at least, at certain times of the year).

Such a great place. Walkable, pet friendly, people friendly, gorgeous. I tell you, the water is still frigging freezing even in late July.

Yeah I will admit I have been up there at 3:30 am waiting more than once! It is better than described too and I don't really like much of anything either.

The house where I was is in NE Haaahbah a few towns over on the Island and a very much more sleepy little place than BH to say the least. My client bought it about 5 years ago and I have been up there maybe a dozen times and in all 5 seasons too!
It is always beautiful but the Island is deserted(no pun intended) in the off-season and I have seen things that I have not seen elswhere there.
I even got stuck there at the house for 2 days during a 13" Ice storm on my Birthday once and luckily have food and supplies on board whenever I go up there as you never can really predict the access off season.

I go to the Mountains in Colorado every year too and though they are so different each is really so unique it is hard to decide which I like better, luckily I don't really need to!
