Excellent choice!   The Swiss Soldier Knife Model 2008 (essentially a Trekker with fancier scales and a dated blade) is my favorite.  What's even better about yours is the plain edged blade.  While the serrated blade can cut through anything, whittling and such can't be done with the knife.

A red money clip (0.6540.10) and two Windsor today:
The 3 are pre-1991 (screwed pivot)
And one of the Windsor seems to be pre-1975 (old straight spring, see picture)

My latest is the Swisschamp I bought before, but I'm about to get a used Rescuetool for my brother who's a Nurse and a long time Red Cross member, I think he will like it, though it is a bit unconventional of a SAK I think it suits him, and at the price I can't afford not to get it.

To be honest I was actually ordering Victorinox Cheese knives for my parents and for my parents-in-law (trying to spread the SAK-virus...) and I had a small gap to fill to get free shipping  ::)

Popped by the dealers and got this today.

I am thinking about getting another one...

And what are you thinking of doing with the second one, should you get it?  :pok:  :dd:

Give it as a present to some good looking lady....

Too bad this definition rules me out, then.

On the bright side, this might be better. I dread to even think what magentus is capable of doing in order to eliminate competition...  :o

Just got this neat 91mm spartan/standard from across the pond from jolly old England by way or royal mail. 91mm climber for reference. Old style can opener and inoxyd tang stamp, anyone have an idea on its age? 1930s?

That's awesome, did you get this at a local market or something?  I hope to find something like that sometime in person.

Off of ebay. Picked up seven SAKs over a four day period, most of them at very reasonable prices.

I've never found anything at a flea market or house sale. Used to have good luck at gun and knife shows back in the Mid-Atlantic region, but the local shows here in Colorado are a bust.
