A couple more scenic Classics, for Yellowstone. Old Faithful and Prismatic Lake (actually a hot spring).

I have also recently bought this $96 workchamp XL bnib unopened on ebay. I couldnt believe it too but its from a seller with 100% feedback so I thought I'd take my chances. It is currently en route to Singapore.... hope it all turns out well too

Anyway there are quite a few sellers selling at $110 with free shipping recently. Any idea what's going on? My best guess is that sellers are clearing existing stocks because nobody's buying them

I think not many people buy the Workchamp XL. Although I really like the looks of the huge knives, I also don't think I will buy the Workchamp XL. It has too many "useless" tools (for most people) like the hoof cleaner and the marlin spike, 2 inline phillips screwdrivers (isn't 1 enough?), a combo tool AND separate can and bottle openers... what were they thinking  ???

The combination of tools is just weird. While nice to look at, the whole thing is pointless  ::)

I agree the combo tool is in such a bad place it is only good as a screw driver, and the hoof tool I have no hoofs to deal with, but I might find uses for the thing anyway.  however, I like having a small phillips and a larger one.  that I do like.

I carried this today in the thigh pocket of my 5.11 tactical pants, and I actually forgot it was there.  the right carry method helps a lot.
yes,  it is big, and yes I wont carry it all the time, but it is far more usable (in my mind) than the XAVT and such.
If I can help, let me know

A new explorer I just finished tonight. It started out life as a swisschamp, but I never carried it. SO I took the saws, and fishscaler etc off, left off the pliers, and boom, its an explorer.

My latest one is a Spartan ('83-'85) I found at the flea market yesterday.
Not that I take a particular interest in spartans, but as I got it for 4 EUR, who could say no?
Cleaned and oiled and added the little key ring which was missing and it's good to go.

Just added a Fieldmaster to the collection  , I've wanted one for awhile & couldn't take it any longer . It has all the tools I like & none I don't . It might have to share a spot alongside my Super Tinker as a favorite :2tu:  Now if they would just add scissors to the Farmer I'd be in heaven....

I still don't have a Fieldmaster. I've never bothered since I have my Wenger Evo18. Doesn't mean I won't grab one if the oppertunity comes up......
