I have no new or old SAKs coming in ;(. However I'm back modding and I have a special 91mm that I'm building for myself that will be amazing I hope.
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

Here's a Wenger Tool Chest Plus with unusual camouflage handles.

That's very different... never seen those scales before.

A little touch-up for these unique scales.

Received my vintage Vic Electrician from the eBay seller today. (note the stark cross, and complete lack of a shield) That cross was originally buffed to a high gloss, but the previous owner seems to have "key-blasted" it.

One odd thing about this, and I'm not sure if the new ones have this, is that the curved inside edge is sharpened to a chisel edge. The way I open Vic bottle openers, I nearly sliced my thumb open on it. It seem to be a factory grind job too.

It is.  The older 93mm had the inside edge sharpened to use as a wire stripper.  It is one feature I wish they'd kept.  :-\

Some older 91mm have it as well.  Ya don't see why they removed it... very handy.

It's a Tool Chest Plus, 11 layers, including 2 for the compass. 15 blades.

I've actually had it for a while but came it across while digging out some Swiss Champs and decided to share. The only other TCPs I've seen were red and an uncommon black. This one didn't come with a box so don't have any additional info on it. The camo pattern feels "Asian" to me, but that's only a guess.

I rounded out a great day with an impulse buy at Sports Chalet after dinner tonight. A Black Vic Camper. That makes 3 new knives for the day. 2 of 'em were Swiss! A Pioneer, a Camper, and a Spydie Military. It's now 11:57 pm here in California and I'm pretty sure I can make it through the rest of this day without buying another knife. I think...???

Szia, szomszéd.

It's a shame there aren't that many single layer 93mm SAKs, a 93mm Bantam or one with a nail file would be dreamy.

Yeah, the closest one is the Sentinel. Which I had bought a month ago, with the one-handed and belt clipped version. :)

It actually looks a lot better than in the picture, especially now I have cleaned it. They can also be polished so as to look like new. They are like standard silverware really.

Price depends on condition and whether it has the original keychain and box etc.
If you wait you should be able to get one for under $50 but most seem to go at around 80-100, plus shipping.

It's been a very sharp and shiny past 48 hours.......

Yesterday the Spirit X I bought from Captain Spaulding arrived, NIB.  Within two hours it proved itself, rebuilding concrete scarifying wheels on a machine at work.  :tu:  The Recruit I picked up today after thinking about it for a while.  I like the 84mm size, it just disappears in the pocket.  And the EvoGrip 81 was mismarked $15.99 at the local Dick's, and that's what they gave it to me for.  Gonna do a bit of filing and make it an SD.  Overall not a bad couple of days!

Agreed. I think this is my favorite SAK size. The Recrcuit is also perfect to join the SAK Whittling club, as it has the nice, smooth back. I'm carrying my Sportsman today. I think I may order a Small Tinker and Cadet soon to round out my 84mm group. I like them all.

Way to keep your eyes open! Were in you in Dick's for something else, or do you stop by stores occasionally to look for this kind of thing? That's about a $50 knife I think...

I stop in there occasionally, and I've come out with some nice stuff.  My Gerber Octane and Strata came from the same store, they were display models that didn't have packaging, and I got them at a nice discount.  :)  It's only this one particular Dick's, it seems.  It's nice and close, so that works for me.  :tu:  As for the Recruit, you're right-it will make a nice SAK whittler.

My latest SAK came in the mail today in the form of the Swiss Army SwissTool Spirit Plus w/ratchet (model 53807).  I haven't opened it yet other than taking it out of the box it came in.  Once I open it, I'll post pics in the appropriate thread.

I know I'm quoting my own quote, but there is method behind the madness!
This is the new SAK that I got in the mail a couple of days ago.
