Beautiful (to me at least :D) Vintage Craftsman with thin pliers, scissors screw, nickel silver ring holder, heavy main blade and no hook (two smooth back springs, yay). Thanks,Tim

Forgot to mention the split Philips screwdriver and how nicely are finished the liners compared with a current production Craftsman. Few more pics, old versus new included:

Thats a nice one Marius.  I for sure prefer more smooth and flush back springs if possible.  I wish they would have made all the springs flush with the liners on all the layers.  Thats the main reason I love the 93 size.

Thanks. Completely agree with you. Speaking of this, I like how Wenger does the backpsprings flush (and still finish the liners edges) on their 85 mm, although for the tools themselves I tend to prefer Vic. One reason I tend to prefer in 91 mm the models that have at least one or two thick layers flush on the back like this. For me the main reasons I love the 93 mm size is this and also for (especially) the heavier main blade and opener tool and the heavy duty alox scales.

Nice pics side by side. Nice vintage craftsman too. Old skool rules (don't tell the youngsters) :)

An excellent condition Deluxe Climber! just needs some polishing and with the addition of some New Plus Scales I think I've found my ideal EDC and finally cured my SAKwasition disorder...

and to think I was going to pay someone to build this for me custom. It pays to frequent eBay!

I picked up a NIB wenger traveler just for my wenger collection.

I thought this model always had the scale tools?  This one doesn't.

The Serrated Traveler (#16432) appearantly didn't come with t&t. Don't have anything on a regular Traveler without them but several other knives, such as Highlander, came that way.

Thanks ColoSwiss  :tu: The SAKwiki only mentions a stainless scaled version so wasn't sure how unusual this was

Just in; a Victorinox Swiss Champ Hardwood. I think the wood is better looking than my Rosewood Swiss Champ, which is dark but doesn't have a lot of figuring to it.

If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

That's a lovely set of custom scales on the minichamp - are they G10?  Down on a far more mundane level, I've just received a Victorinox Sportsman clad in red collidor scales.
