Waiting for a package from the Catman :climber:

Used Wenger Eddie Bauer Locking Adventurer - Red  (Traveler ,without Lock)
Used Victorinox Ambassador - Red

:mail: :salute: :gimme:

I am loving the locking blade on the wenger  :climber: (it will be the possible replacement of my old and trusted victorinox sportsman as my EDC knife) and that blade on the victorinox is quite a surprise (it's so much bigger than the blade of the classic) Very happy with both! As always great service from the Catman! :tu:

The Cat-man had one!!

Keep your eyes peeled they do pop up from time to time - and I was in the right place at the right time. Always worth keeping tabs on EDC Source and the trade forums, plus begging and pleading in the WTB forum too  :D

I think I've got my dream keychain SAK - but I have got another (different item) on it's way to compare it against ... and I'll do a head-to-head when it lands. I'm hoping I've got my dream "pliers based" multitool on it's way too ... but I think I need to build my dream 91mm SAK. Nothing's quite filling the role at the minute - the Deluxe Tinker is close ... but there's still room for more happiness.  :D

I'll be sure to let everyone know when they materialise   :salute:

I am very slowly adding on to my NHL classic collection. Besides the National flag collection these seem to be the hardest to find of any series made. Here is a black classic for the New Jersey Devils.

Whats that? Is it the name for the stadium where the Devils play? You should probably check wherever the NJ Devils pro shop sells, they might have one.

The NHL series of Victorinox Classics were produced in 1998 and maybe only one run was made for each team? I am guessing here since there seems to be few on the market. Probably they did not sell very well and were stuffed in a hole somewhere for storage or just sold out and no replacements were ordered.

AFAIK Victorinox told me they produced series classics like this in minimum orders of 200 pieces. I originally asked about the National flag series but it should be the same with the sports team series too.

Yes, The Rock is a nickname for the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, where the Devils play. I was just there on Wednesday, and didn't see anything like that in any of the shops. I'll have to look for one, didn't even know they existed! The Zippo lighter with the Devils logo was pretty difficult to find in its own right, Zippo and the NHL stopped their marketing agreement years ago. One more toy for the list.....
