Wow that does look like a good place to get scales and small parts.  I wonder if they ship international.

sort of -> 'we deliver to germany, italy, belgium, austria, luxemburg, netherlands'

Good choice!  :) Where did you buy the replacement parts? Messerjoker?

http://www.schweizer-messer.eu/Victorinox_Ersatzteile_Pflegemittel

they sell the 'plus' scales as 'swiss champ' scales.
I know this shop, too. They have good prices.  :)

Another Wenger, evogrip, not sure the exact model, but, unlike a Vic, four layer isn't too bad for pocket.

well, today is turning out to be just like Xmas....

Also in the mail (had to collect from Post Office) were a used but VGC old cross Alox Electrician

and one that I took a bit of a gamble on... a "Large Red Swiss Army Knife"

this was what the one eBay listing photo looked like, except it wasn't as clear as this.

I was hoping I had spotted the driver correctly and that with a hook it must have scissors, so couldn't be just a 29.

Cybertool34.  The very tip of the main blade is broken and there is only one driver bit left. But it was about 1/2 what you would expect to pay. Cheap enough that it may end up as a donor.

Good score on that CyberTool!

My latest is this Spartan with Metallic Blue scales. Never seen those scales before and they are beautiful!

It's really nice. The knife has a laser etched company logo (EMS) on the blade and it had a logo on the scale (I removed that one). So I'm guessing those metallic scales were a custom order

Not really happy with the quality of these pics but for know it's the best I can do.

As you can see in the last pic these scales are a bit darker than the regular blue cellidor ones like on this Compact. And depending on the light they have a bit of purple in them :)

Beautiful.  :tu:
So it is metal? Not kind of a coating? How thick is the metal? Hollow?

I apologize for not being very clear. These are cellidor but with a metallic kind of paint or coating on them. No idea what it is exactly.

Sorry, I know you don't like cellidor :pok:
