Some more for the collection.  :salute:

Tourist Special 2006

I'm almost afraid to ask - What is that?

I asked exactly the same question when I saw it.
So I asked a good friend in Switzerland who replied with the info below:

----------
"This knife was made in 2006 for a brocante, flea market which takes place twice a year in the town of Aarberg"
----------

The knife is signed by the artist M.S Bastian (2006) on the back scale.
I did a bit of research myself and found the artist in question.

Aarberg Switzerland

I just liked the artwork.  :)

Hope that helps.  :salute:

Thanks for the info.  :salute:

Chinese New Year Vics  (all Climbers):

Year of the Ox - 2009
Year of the Rabbit - 2011
Year of the Snake - 2013

Many thanks to papercut, who picked them up for me in Taiwan. Thanks again, John!

Sounds like you have a great collection.  :tu:

I'm missing three; Horse, Goat and Monkey. All pricey nowadays.

Do have three Wengers I believe are part of a New Years series; will post later.

An assortment of Asian knives, both Victorinox and Wenger. The three at the bottom are what I believe to be part of a Wenger Chinese New Year series: monkey, sheep, rabbit. However I have no documentation for them.

Latest for me is a bunch of 84s for moddin'.  2 waiters, a recruit and 2 small tinkers.

I really like the small tinkers! 20 bucks for a brand new one is good value for the money I think.  :tu:

They're large 'Infinite Divider' boxes from the Container Store. A bit pricier than the Planos, but a bit more flexible. Main reason I went with them was they were the only such item I could find when I was starting out.

That's a cool Wenger, never seen one with those different scales.
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

I thought that someone swap the scales, so I asked the seller about this and he told me that the knife is brand new and that he knows nothing about that.

I just received a pre '91 Vic Explorer in very good condition. I probably will make it an Explorer plus with some spare parts I have lying around. That won't give me the parcel hook of course, but hey.

Wow that does look like a good place to get scales and small parts.  I wonder if they ship international.
