For NIB it is.  :pok: Most Coach Classics NIB I have found for sale are usually over $80. I think retail is $120.

These look cool and are great collectors pieces but as far as using it the leather wears quickly and sometimes can pull away from the knife prematurely. I had a nice red one I gave to my sister-in-law and she only used it for about 3 months before the leather pulled loose on one side.  :(

Coach did a series of Climbers and Classics in a half-dozen different colors of leather. Don't believe they're currently offered. New they look great, but as Wayne mentioned they don't seem to hold up. A lot of the ones you see on ebay look pretty rough.

My newest is an ordinary Wenger Evo s17:

Normal s17?

I know the box says it's an s17, but the picture, tool list, and (most importantly) the knife itself are all really the s18. That's what I was after, so when I spotted this odd blister pack at the Scout Shop, I thought, why not?

I know the knife isn't actually in the picture, but that's because it's at the engravers.

OK, this is the freaking 3rd time im trying this, photobucket was giving me a problem, and when i came back to this page it deleted everything i posted, go fig! ok were do i start, umm oh yeah, the custom sak that Syph did i had done with brass liners because of the old yet brand new knife, it was a pioneer, and because i was keeping it with the brass liner i wanted to keep everything brass, so i ended up getting a leather sheath for it, and i always wanted a side steel for it, but they only come with a chrome handle, but i ended up finding the perfect match for it, a brass handle!

I know theres not much to this but theres another part to it, when my grandfather originally gave me my first at 12 he gave me a swiss champion plus, the same that he had, but his sheath had the steel on the side, unfortunately mine didnt :( .. but when he passed i got his knife and in the original sheath, needless to say no steel! so when i thought of it i figured by ordering the brass steel i could put the chrome one in the old sheath so i could have a complete setup for my old one, grant it i dont use it but it has a lot of meaning to it, especially since i lost it in the woods at the age of 13, but found it a year later,

Sorry the pics aint the greatest, but there you have it, my new setup, "The Mad's Handy Pharmber"
the Wengers handyman has basically the same tools, and well in a farmers setup, and im a plumber, i think it fits, best part is i get to wear it tomorrow on the 4th of July :D JR

Nice, very cool custom :tu:  Syph does good work doesn't he?  Yours definitely looks like an ideal urban EDC SAK to me.  Although I probably would have skipped the saw, but to each his own ;)  Enjoy your Pharmber and may it serve you well :tu:

That he does! As for the saw part, there's another little part to it, every piece of the pharmber is literally brand new, not used, except the saw, that was taken off of my grandfathers, in which I also used to fix my other sak, that saw I don't think was ever used, I mean not even a scratch was on it, but it's something of my grandfathers and I can have to carry with me everywhere I go, same goes for the one he gave me, I broke the corkscrew on it long long ago and tattoosteve took the one off of my grandfathers and put it on mine to fix, so I had something complete, but still with a part of him.. Well I guess I can understand that then :tu:  It's very cool that you have that part of it to be sentimental and be meaningful to you.  I don't have that with any of mine as I have no handed down MTs/SAKs.  I hope to start that tradition, but I have no son (yet) to pass anything on to.  I suppose I could do so with my daughters (I've gotten my oldest one a Signature Lite, but she really doesn't use it), but I don't think they would have the same appreciation for something like that handed down from their dad.

Lovely
Will it be an user or a collector item?
I've got mine "used" but in great condition
so I can't myself overcome to put it in my
EDC rotation  :ahhh

Best Regards

It could go either way. I would be happy if it went to a collector.
If there is no interest or if it turns out not to be collectable then I would be happy putting it to use.
It could do with a clean and there is a small mark on the emblem scale.
I would guess that it has spent most of its time in a drawer.
Hopefully I can get some free time over the weekend to take more photos of it.

Found these 2 this morning

A horn scaled Spartan

and a unknown 84mm also with horn scales

Rest is not idleness,
and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day,
listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky,
is by no means a waste of time

Thanks! There was something else but that was last night and you think I can remember what I was thinking.. Oh for using my grandfathers knife for parts, I kept the scales because they had his name engraved into them, and tattoosteve made a, I don't know how to explain it, a wooden knife? Another thing was when my older boy turned 12 I bought him the same knife and sheath that he gave me, and ill do the same for my little guy in three years.. JR
