strange find today

Victorinox has done a number of United Nations knives, typically with matte nylon handles. Don't think I've seen black before; nice find!  :tu:

A Vic Classic SD lime green alox I picked up a couple of months ago by chance.

Sorry the pictures don't really capture it as well as I'd hoped, but I love the color!

Yes I used to have a blue Fao one untill I lost it. I repute myself luky having found another cause I like the UN mission. But the uncommon knife beeing the othe (hiker? no scissor and a wood saw instead) with the Jeff Chavis engraved name. I googled him and it appear's to be a democracy party eminence, or a Firefighter dead on duty? Cause I have access to many second hands sacks, I bet coming from charity sales from airport security, I was curious to know more

The good Dr is always happy to help :)
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Got this CT34 awhile back.

Rest is not idleness,
and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day,
listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky,
is by no means a waste of time

I think I have an "Handyman" and a "Climber" with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees logo, both with red matte nylon scales.

Received my Hiker in the post yesterday. Another well oiled and sharp knife straight out of the box from victorinox. A little bigger than I expected for some reason.

I'd put a photo up but tapatalk and my old blackberry don't seem to be getting on . . .

I took 2 photos and the first one had that dull red one up front so I rearranged them for a more colorful look. I thought about the whole "rainbow" thing later but decided  and left it as is.

Just got an Vic Pioneer.  Now it takes me 10 minutes to decide if I want to carry it, or my other new knife, the Farmer.  Love 'em both.  :)

Decisions, decisions... 2 nice choices. I'm still waiting to pull the trigger on a electrician as my first 93mm alox.

Hey man!  I see you're going deeper into the SAK rabbit hole huh?  The Pioneer is great, and I would imagine the Farmer is as well (don't have one).  I guess it depends on if you think you would like to have a SAK saw on you or not.  I think I would prefer the Pioneer myself, but I carry other items to compensate for what it would lack ;)

That's a good one too, and was my first 93mm alox.  I love that utility blade :tu:
