Two recent additions.  One is new, the other back in the family after being traded to me, traded for something else, then back to me, then out again, and finally back here to stay this time.  :)  First the noob:

<snip>

The Beast, Wenger Tool Chest Plus.  10 layers!  :ahhh  It's so big that to show the tool loadout I had to take two pics.  It is a neat piece though, and now it's here to stay.  :tu:

So which layer is the homing device on?  :think:

I replaced the scales on my Manager. The darker blue ones it had originally (shown in the photograph, next to the Manager) were not available.
Now it looks new again.

Did you buy one of those packages via ebay or have you been directly on an auction?

No,a local scrapyard buys the confiscated knives (per kg)from the airport as scrap metal,they in turn will have them for sale (at R10 +/-$1 US for small knives and R20 for the bigger ones) for a month or two, what ever don't sell will be ground up and recycled. I make my rounds once a week just to scratch through everything, there's a lot of Vics mostly Huntsman and Spartans, but you do find the odd gem.

I didn't say it wasn't from the 70s. Your question was "shouldn't the fishscaler have a ruler". The answer is no. The evolution of the fishscaler is such that the single bevel model was introduced around 1970 but didn't get rulers until 1972/3. This is from that time. The fact that there is no +PAT on the can opener would date this to late 1971/early 1972, before the scissor change, the file change and other pre-1974 changes had taken effect.
