@colo, that's what that logo is?!? Wow! I'd seen a few on Ebay and thought they were just limited runs or something. Love learning things on this site. :D >:D

Just in, a Vic Classic with the Saudi required non-Christian logo on the handle. Teamed up with my Swiss Champ and Executive.

Extremely cool knives you have there. I never really linked there cross with religion (stupid me), but now that I have the thought in my head I think those non-christian shields on the knives are extremely cool. It is not a religious reason for me either. Just think it's cool that they are actually made like that. Are these old knives? How hard where they to find? Thanks for sharing. I like finding new knives that interest me.  :tu:

I've seen the Saudi knives off and on for a number of years, but have no idea when they started. The Swiss Champ was picked earlier this year in mint condition, so believe they're still being produced. The knives were originally intended for sale in Saudi Arabia. Don't know if they're also sold in other Middle East countries. Whichever the case, they don't show up very often here.

Thank you very much for the info.  :tu: I would love to get my hands on one of these eventually. Probably going to be very hard since I don't use EBAY. Either way I have a something else to hunt for now.  :D

if anyone is interested in more info about the rules for importing into Saudi  (SASO regulations) and a list of other banned items, I have posted them here... (didn't want to derail this thread)

Two days full of Swiss goodness!  :)  Yesterday, a Wenger Commander and a Highlander with a choke tube tool.....

And today, a Swisschamp!  Except for some light wear on the scales, this one looks unused.  Gonna have to fix that.....  ;)  Old mag glass, second generation pliers, riveted scissors with a hook, I'm guessing 1991-1995.  My other Champ is an early one, 1985-86.

By the way, the Swisschamp is a bit of a pain to photograph.  Can't get it all in one shot with my poor skills......  :)

I've aquired very few knew knives over the last 2 months, but I did get a couple and there is always the backlog.

Here is a quick pic of the Black Ice Trailmaster/Trekker with the G10 custom scales.  I just opened the package today, but so far I like the Black-Ice.  They should have made a Huntsman and Climber in Black-Ice as well... maybe even go all out and do a SwissChamp.  It would look super awesome if they polished the blade the old way for a true mirror finish and then applied the Black-Ice.  I think the outer-liners are Black-Oxide rather than Black-Ice.

I hesitated for a while, but finally decided that I "needed" a Swisschamp xlt, my life would be incomplete without it. The price botherd me: where I live (Holland) they sell for about € 200.  But eventually I bought one for "only" € 120 in Germany.

I don't think it's too heavy for pocket carry. It's about the same weight as my charge tti, and I have been carrying that one in my pocket for over a year now.

I feel complete now ...   :)

But wait, I still need..... :poh:

SwissChamp with SOS kit and sheath made for Muslim countries with restrictions against the Christian cross symbol.

Only meant to update this with a new link.
