I agree with Tom.  I'm  looking forward to a smaller one-hander LM with a pocket clip too.

That stinks.  I told my wife to get it for me for Christmas.  Guess I'll have to wait an extra week or two.

Well Leatherman changed the release date on their site to 2008. I wonder what the hold-up is....

A few stores have pushed back the ETA to 2-15-08 (from 12-31-07).  I don't know if this applies to everyone or just a handful of stores.

Just my wildest guess,it's likely Leatherman wanting to have enough inventory on hand to ship rather than production delays.I think the buzz ,and demand has exceeded their expectations.

That makes sense to me, and would be my guess as well.

Well, can't they at least send us here at Multitool.org a bunch of them now, and make everybody else  wait until 2008? :D

That would be sweet!  Keep trying!

BTW, Def, I enjoyed your article in Tactical Knives.  Anymore articles coming up?

And...has their been any articles about the Skeletool around?

I haven't seen much about the Skeletool, and none that hasn't already been pointed out here already.

Thanks- I have some more articles in the works for Tactical Knives, Knives Illustrated, Blade and maybe some other magazines.  I will keep you all informed of any other particularly interesting articles from myself or anyone else.

no pictures here yet! Done :D

sure is wild looking! it would be nice to get a group/we love you/gonna tell everyone/deal here, I know it's being worked on, ty for that.
They say it's only around 5oz! amazing for a full size tool. it would be nice to be able to switch out the minimal tools you personally want in it.

Only good can come to Leatherman if they are confident in this tool and they send Def a half dozen or so to pass around.

There must be cases worth of these in the mail right now on their way to different magazines, what's a few more? :multi:

I believe a request has been submitted, but no joy so far. Personally, I can't wait to get my hands on one of these.

Wish I knew which Leatherman distributor is going to receive their's first, so I can place my pre-order with them.  :-\

lol South Haven. omg it's the best ever. I use to camp near there and we'd all go into town for Shermans. You know it's the best because their are always lines and all the cars in the parking lot have plates from all over the country!

omg J-sews, they have a belly buster and giant cones and tons of flavors, bring the family, don't eat for days because your gonna feel it! and to top it off their reasonable (prices) compared to other places of similar quantity. They are the best, I'll give you your money back if you don't at least like it a lot!
