The flyer for the show also mentioned "Tanks" as featured pieces but turns out there was only one "Tank" and it was technically a tank destroyer, M10.

If you like armor then you really need to make a pilgrimage to CFB Borden, Ontario, about 120kms north of Toronto.  I spent a few years there, and right across the road from me was a place officially called Worthington Park, but more commonly known as The Tank Park.  There's some seriously impressive old armor kept there for the public to enjoy.

It's changed somewhat since I was there last, which must be about 15 years ago.  There are several pieces that I don't recognize, and many of the ones I do remember were obviously painted as they were all the same monochromatic OD green when I was there.  It's nice to see some of them spruced up a bit! :D

I really have no idea- I am trying to remember all the stuff there, but I really can't.  There is more there than what's pictured though- I remember a couple of old WWII era German tanks that aren't shown.  Of course, that's just what's outside.  Inside the museum behind the park is a whole lot of other stuff including at least one Duck:

We have a large civilian version of those around here that give tours around the harbour.

This is the part I want to do!  I'd get them to just drive in and out of the water all day!  :D

Unfortunately my Sunfire doesn't fare so well when I try doing this with it! :o

For a long time I wanted a BTR60 - 80, to do exactly that, just to drive into rivers and scare all the fisherman with my thrashing 8 wheels :D

They come in 6 and 8 wheeled varieties here, and are manufactured by Argo.  I have wanted one for years!  One of these days when I have a nice house on a lake I'll get one as it will be handy for all manner of things in addition to being buttloads of fun! :D

I think our army version looks better though, although that might be because of the smoke discharges, twin FN GPMG's and a 81mm mortar :D

Funny thing that- the simple application of machine guns tends to make many things more appealing! :D
