Our primary car (in terms of use) is this 2010 Volvo V70:

My other car is this 1991 Volvo 940 Turbo, which belonged to one of my best friends. He gave it to me a couple of weeks before he passed away.

Love that 91 Glenn!  One of these days I'd like to pick up an older Volvo wagon.  They're bullet proof mechanical wise, and have the room to actually use them as a small truck if you have to.

I really want a classic Volvo Estate now.  :D

I had an old Volvo 340 many years ago.  One of the least exciting cars ever made but it was solid.

Definitely not exciting, but durable and reliable are more important to me too.

These are indeed bullet proof in terms of reliability and really cheap in maintenance, because the technique is simple, everything is very well accessible: you don't have to dismantle half the car when you need to replace parts. And the 940 isn't prone to rust like the 240/260 series and the early 740/760 series. I've had different types of Volvos (850, S70, V70 Classic) over the years but I believe this generation are the best they ever made.

Opel Vivaro 2.5 liter diesel, 107 kW, 9 seats / a few cubic meters of storage space. Not a beauty but versatile and reliable.

Not just for that, but also.
Tomorrow I drive to someone who wants to sell a larger collection. Will 900 kilos of payload suffice? I hope not!  >:D

Snap, I also have a 2017 Fit (called a Jazz outside of the US). I noticed today that it's only got 20K miles on it. I only really use it for the commute and I've been out of work for 1.5 years now. It's a nice car, rather underpowered but it's a city car. I also wish it had more driver leg room but on the other hand it has spectacular leg room in the back for such a small car. I find the pedals rather small and slippy, I put sand paper tape on them (stuff sold for using on skate boards), works ok but I'd love a better option.

I just picked myself up a 2018 Honda CR-V EX.  Man, this thing has soooo many crazy safety features!  Neither my Jeep or Nissan even had ABS!! lol

The lane keep assist is meh, but the adaptive cruise is really nice!

I never really even considered one until I drive it. I was very impressed with how it drove, how comfortable it was, how much room it had, and the fuel mileage that little 1.5 turbo engine is able to get. This is also the first vehicle I’ve had that has a CVT transmission. It is so much different than a conventional slushbox!!

I recently gave my car keys to my wife as I sold her Renault Clio from 2002.

I handed over the company van little over a month later and got a Ford Focus station wagon instead to go with my new job description.

I love how it handles and accelerates.
It's got quite some mileage on it from the previous driver, but I should be good to go for a year or 2.

I've since shortened the rods of the ladder clamps to be only slightly raised above the roof.

Nice rides all.  I like the CR V but have been looking at the RAV 4 again.  I am not a car guy at all and just want a reliable high mpg car.  I'm not quite ready for a hybrid so for now gas it is.

But they do have a tendency to break down right on your own driveway :P

Luckily they gave me a relatively new car from the garage to use for now.

A lovely, spacious and luxurious Ford Ka
