So I have ventured into the paracord world and I got hooked from my first lanyard. I ordered 200 feet from rotokid and I just placed an order for 800 feet. Anyway, the first thing I did was to wrap my cute little pry bar.

Then I got a little help from Def and his article at SOSAK and I made this

Here's a 'Rattlesnake Fob', as JD of TIAT calls it in his video tutorial(aka Ashley Book of Knots #541 over-and-under heaving line knot). I used just under 5 feet of paracord for a wrist lanyard version.

What's a hangman's knot?

I followed TIAT's video tutorials over at youtube and made a few lanyards for my keys and such. Useful, especially when trying to fish out of a bag.

A noose isn't entirely simple - you shouldn't do yourself down mate

I love playing with knots, even managed to get a free app for the iphone with a nice collection on.
