How does the thickness of those TI scales compare to the stock plastic and Alox scales?  Remeber seeing a comparison of the new hand grenade 91mm scales, but not the TI ones.

The Ti scales are thinner than cellidor and 93mm alox.  Its more noticeable on a cellidor conversion since the liners are dropped too saving even more thickness.

That single layer Ti model is thinner than an alox solo for example.

Syph,
I just have to suggest your next mod/project (like you don't have enough already  ;) ).
You asked in a different topic "what should be the next Vic layer?". Well, since you now make your own scales, and mill slots for the T&T, and do pretty much everything else SAK-wise, you certainly have the capability to make a layer with the main blade and a really beefed up Combo Tool. You could improve one of the weakest Vic tools out there, and maybe mill a relief into a scale to allow it clearance against the main blade.
Actually, if the main blade is crinked a little more than it currently is, maybe a relief isn't necessary even. Just make a slightly thicker than standard liner that the blade tip could wander over into?

I've been asked many times to put the bottle opener in the blade layer, and that for sure is on my todo list.  Its a better pry tool, and it seems most people dont care about can openers.  The nail nick is on the other side though so the blade would have to be bent straight and the bottle opener would sit on the other side of the blade. This would have a secondary benefit too of having a straight main blade instead of a bent one.

It's too bad wenger parts won't fit. I've ran into both left and right handed straight screwdrivers.

Why not just make a new nail nick in the opposite side?

Bottle opener and blade would be awesome.

Still a fan of a bit driver on a 93 though.

I'd like to build a few different configurations of these for myself, but damn the donors for cybertool mods are crazy expensive.

My 10 amp power supply arrived!  Now I just need sulfuric acid and apparently I can get that at NAPA.

My BO parts were also ready!

This time Ive got 15 tinkers, 10 spartans.  Ive also got 10 inline awls from 93s that will be going in place of small blade as a different option, and 10 saw layers.

Last time I sold these all on facebook in a couple of hours so I'll probably offer them there again.  Give me a should today if you want any.  I have black alox liners to use for these builds as well.

I'm liking the 93mm awl in place of small blade option.  Conveniently I am low on small blades and have lots of extra inline awls, so it works out well.

Dual blade madness!  With 'security' feature of impossible to access small blade!

I've been wondering about that "security" feature also with an 84mm multi-blade.  :-\  That and the blade-liner-washer-spacer problem is making me think about not doing it.

Thats why the 93mm is the perfect frame.  Symmetrical.  On that frame I could have flipped around of the blade layers.  Cant do that on any other one.

But got to admit it would be nice to see the BO double madness on the 93mm frame so the one of the main blades can be flipped.

Hmm....How possible would a cybertool 29 with a 93mm awl in place of the small blade and a 93mm electrician blade for the can opener be?

I'd also love to know if any blade can replace the can opener on the 91mm. Can you eye ball it next time you've got one of those babies apart?

Waterjet brass 91mm liners were ready for pickup!

Thankfully my file was good and the liners line up perfect.

I only needed inner liners as I dont use the outer ones in my mods, and this basic shape works for all tools layers except the cybertool driver layer.  Pretty much analogous to the 93mm alox liner, however this is actually strong as there is more 'meat' in the middle.
