The Maine Coon with the laser eyes is Fluffy and the black one is Spooky. Spooky gets that mane during the winter, which is something I've never noticed any cat do. Fluffy is a big boy (about 20lbs) and loves his catnip

It's funny because I've noticed the laser eyes from both of them in several pics, but that one of Fluffy was awesome

My great dane Russo was very bad! I came home and he had completely torn the entire couch apart! There was stuffing all across the living room with nothing left but some ripped leather and the frame of the couch! On top of that this is the face he was making.

Scary right?

We have two bulls in the house that look exactly like Ruby. Callie lives in the apartment upstairs with her beagle/basset adopted sister Molly and Otis lives in the unit downstairs with his feline brother Gizmo.

Dog friendly buildings are the best!

There has been a bit of a worry around them both. Otis' family moved from the other side of the country and had to drive through one of the biggest provinces, Ontario, where pitbulls, all related breeds, and anything that looks like it may have once smelled a pitbull, are banned. They made it through safely though.

Callie's family are moving this month to the other side of the country and will also have to pass through Ontario and they are a bit concerned about it.

TV dog trainer Cesar Millan had to cancel several shows in Ontario because his bull, Junior, the one he uses to calm other dogs down and teach them how to behave weren't allowed in the province either, just to give you an idea how strict they are there.

Yeah, I've seen so much anti-bull sentiment from people with no idea what they are talking about. It doesn't help that some governments banned them (same crap here).

I think breed plays such a small part in the overall behaviour of a dog, and it's mostly about the effect humans have on them. We don't have dog licenses any more which is a stupid move if you ask me. You need one to drive a car, and prove you can do that responsibly, so why can idiots get hold of big powerful dogs and turn them in to weapons??

Better stop.... out of control rant coming on!

I totally agree chrissy,there's lots of staffis near me but sadly lots of bad owners,souls been attacked twice by staffs,it was the owners fault as badly trained plus they get these dogs as soon kind of status symbol $:-\$ although iam obsessed with training dogs,soul is almost walking with no lead at all but it's been hard work People don't put the time in and pay for it,

Staffi's get a very bad deal, my next door neighbour volunteers for a local dog rescue centre, and her staffi is often used as a foster mum to all breeds of puppies! she is one of the most placid sweetest dogs you'll ever come across

Yeah, he's a big one, especially noticeable when they are next to each other like in that pic. Right now he's double her weight, but it won't be long before she'll be the bigger one, and then once she's mobile, he really better watch out

He's not big on being handled in terms of being grabbed/picked up, so it'll be interesting to see how he reacts to her when she attempts such things. I'm in hopes she learns fairly quickly not to mess with him when he's not in the mood, with as little bloodshed as possible

Just seconds ago, im sitting here on my comp reading away at the forum and fuzznuts, Luther, jumped onto my lap then walked right up into my laptop and PLOP! i cant believe it! needless to say hes not on it anymore!!!! cause i wouldn't be typing! lol JR
As you can see in the second pic my wife next to me via the hand on the mouse, and im under the laptop via my knees, That pic took a few shots cause i had to stretch my arm out and couldn't see what i was taking!

this is Rocco he's a Chihuahua mix, we got him at 6 weeks nearly 9 years ago and has been one heck of a pal. hes about 3 lbs and a very smart lil guy too he can do pretty much every dog "trick" and best of all he is off leash trained and will walk along like one of the kids. he is quite the handsome guy if i do say so.

He is indeed a good looking dog!

I love to see chihuahuas at the dog park- at 110lbs my Daisy is usually one of the largest dogs there, but she deals with small dogs so much better than she does dogs her own size. She's terribly competitive and dogs her size mean she has to put forth more energy to beat them, then they knock it up a step, then she responds... and so on and so on until it develops into a fight.

Small dogs like chihuahuas and dachshunds have no hope in Hades of dominating her since he head is larger than the entire dog and she relaxes a lot better around them. Of course most of the time they are terrified of her since she could probably swallow them whole, but she's so gentle with them.
