My apologies for the late reply.

I've been feeling a bit sick these last days and although I visit this place from time to time, I do seem to miss a lot of things, guess I'm not at my sharpest at the moment...

And about the feeling sick, my oldest son and our little girl had the same symptoms a couple of days ago, and he tested negative, so it's probably just a cold for me as well.

Anyway, awesome pics John  :o.

I would love to have those temperatures over here right now (but wait until summer, and after two hot weeks I'm wishing it was winter again  :D).

Beautiful pics of a great knife, and that scenery is just breathtaking...

What 111mm SAK is that?  I can't see it on the pics, the only "red" 111mm I own is the Hercules, and I love it (I also own a couple of Soldiers, a DAK, an orange Huntsman Pro, and a Forester with wood scales, but the Hercules is the most carried).

Thanks for sharing your pics here my friend

Greetings from Belgium :salute:.

Hey John,

Again, great pics  :tu:

The skies in that last one...  :o

The 111mm series makes for great outdoor knives, the perfect compromise between the regular 91mm and the huge 130mm Ranger series.

We are kinda spoiled by Vic and Wenger, aren't we?  :D

Thanks for sharing your pics here mate, I really appreciate it  :salute:.

Not really public pics...

Still feeling a bit under the weather since my illness last weekend (tested negative for Covid-19,
luckily), and with the dreary weather over here it's best to stay inside I guess...

But here are some "indoor pics" from some new toys  ;).

Despite not being a fan of the switch from Pioneer to Pioneer X, I still had to get a 2021LE to keep the collection complete (and also because that orange is just beautiful).

And since they had a 10 Euro discount on it I finally pulled the trigger on the Farmer X.

Congratulations on the two new ones! The orange is really nice, mine came too.
And the FarmerX ... the only 93mm with four layers!

Thanks guys, I like both of them  :tu:.

The Farmer X is a beautiful SAK indeed, and as long as Victorinox keeps adding layers to their Alox models, I'll keep on buying... (dreaming of an Alox "Swisschamp like" SAK).

 :dd:

And we all knew I wasn't going to quit collecting the annual LE Pioneers just because they switched to the Pioneer X this year...  ::)

Nice to have you still in the Alox boat!  :salute:
I actually prefer a maximum of three layers, but as an aloxoholic, I am happy about every new Alox model.

Beautiful pics Peter, love those skies in the first pic.  Looks like a place where I would feel right at home.

Great place to go for a family hike, thanks for sharing your pics here, and by doing so, letting us enjoy the hike as well.

Greetings from Belgium, stay safe everybody  :salute:.

Such beautiful scenery  :dd:.

The names alone are already cool, Winterthur Seuzach...

Makes me want to pack my bags and go on vacation, sadly enough that's not going to happen any time soon  :-\.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful pics here my friend, you know how much I appreciate them, right?

Greetings and stay safe guys :salute:.

Thank you, guys.  :salute:

I feel the same way, Eric! In my whole life I have never had such a desire to travel anywhere!  :ahhh

But what should I do? The impending quarantine is not compatible with my job, so I'll leave it and rediscover my area ...

And yes, Eric, you mentioned that you appreciate my pictures.  :hatsoff:
Sometimes I think they're pretty boring for others, there are really more spectacular areas than Winterthur ...
It doesn't matter, it's my area, I love it, this is where I am rooted.

Today strolled once more in our preferred nearby walking area.
15 minutes on foot from here you are in a city of over 100,000 inhabitants. I wonder where all the people are, walking is still allowed here.
Just a few impressions:

I think we all appreciate them and each other’s Sneider, always interesting to see where people live, their love of their home town and their lives.
Very different from my environment that’s for sure, many years since I’ve seen snow…I do probably see more beaches and rainforest than you guys though

Not been out in the bush last few weekends, will again soon, so here’s a couple of Coco in the park with a Spirit XC I’m carrying this week in the poker face challenge

Hello Echotech. Thank you for your words. I love to see what other members' areas look like and what tools and edc stuff they use.

Coco looks happy and like a good four-legged partner!

It get smaller all the time!

I was brought by football - I support an English fan-owned non-league club, FC United of Manchester. We've been invited over for a couple of summer friendlies by FC Winterthur and I made it to the first one. I remember having to "hydrate" quit a lot due to the sunshine. :drink:

Thanks for the beautiful pics Peter and John, you guys keep this place running  :hatsoff:.

My apologies for the late reply (again  :-[), I'm working the evening shift this week and just started operating a new machine last week, and it's been two weeks of misery.

Cold weather (freezing) and "empty" beer bottles stored outside don't mix too well apparently, and seeing my machine is the first one they enter (to clean them, like a big dishwasher) the frozen ones all bursted right there, giving loads of problems to me, operating the machine for the first time...  :(

When I come home I can barely take a shower before I crawl of to bed... And the noise... Even with earplugs and a protecting headphone my ears are ringing all the time. Having serious doubts about doing this job for the rest of my life...

Thanks again for the great pics guys, I'm always looking forward to them  :salute:.
