I had a farmer mod on order with Steven when he retired.  A bit sad that it didn't work out, but hopefully he is TCB @ home :P.

Still rocking the Galahad lock.  I did have the opportunity to clean a few recent pickups during the early morning jetlag hours which gave me the opportunity to make a few observations.

  Did you know that the Dynasty series alox scales are thinner than the Wenger plastic scales (this includes the covered outer liners) and 84mm Vic scales plus liners?  Did you know that the Dynasty Galahad is signficantly thinner overall than a 84mm climber (this includes the locking mechanism, I would expect the Gawain the be evenmoreso)?  Did you know the new cadets are also thinner than the old cadets?

Been switching between Vic Harvester and Spartan Hardwood lately. The rest of my knives are getting jealous, but, still, it's the Spartan Hardwood in my pocket once again today.

Got my pre-hook Compact in my pocket today.  For some reason this one has a notably stronger spring action than my other 91mm Vics.  Just 'clunks' into place with a touch more authority if you know what I mean.

Felt like another Swissbuck today...Remedy model...did the unthinkable, used a leatherman to fix a bent blade tip, and it actually worked and didn't break!
