EvoWood S557 today

(Image removed from quote.)

After seeing that shot of your 557 I just realized that is the same too-lset as I have in the "Nomad + Pliers" that I put together and wrapped in Dynasty scales. But I have the tools in a different order. I might have to pull it apart and re-do it in the "correct" order. (I wasn't really happy with the way it went together anyway)

Um, that sounds flippin' awesome!  I want to see that knife, whatever order the layers are in.  :tu:  In fact, I think the S557 would be improved if the spanner wrench was in the first layer.

That's great, and looks to have a better positioned spanner wrench.  :tu:  The only difference in the toolset is that your mod has a small clip blade, while the S557 has the nail file.

Glad to hear you finally got one  :tu: You weren't having mine  :pok: :P :D

As for me, I'm carrying an MP700 today which gives me scissors, so I've decided to carry the first SAK I ever got. A humble Tourist  :tu:

Same again today, the Explorer and Pioneer.  Between the two of them, they basically cover the majority of daily tasks for me.  Even though the Pioneer is mostly redundant, it's more solid, beefier implements are useful, and it has the best awl going ;)

Worked on my car this weekend, so my nails have grit and grime in them. So today I grabbed my Mini-Champ to do some nail work. I nearly got my Executive, but it didn't have a lanyard on it and I didn't want to lose it.

Replaced some O2 sensors. It's a simple enough task to explain. You just unplug them from the electrical connections, unscrew the sensor .... and then reverse procedure to put the new ones on. Simple, right?

But access .... there's the issue. I could only reach one of the connections with my left hand and then only barely. Had to sacrifice a bit of skin to get the thing unconnected. But I prevailed!

I love the waiter.  My go-to knife for cocktail parties and bbqs.

Today, I am carrying a black alox cadet.

I have a real soft spot for the Waiter as well, it's the first SAK I bought myself as an adult.

Today however it was the turn of my Camper Special

though these days it's got some lovely white scales on. :)
